A great event at the Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce Dhanteras Gala 2022. Awards handed out to 11 deserving and distinguished community members. Over 450 members attended to make the gala special. A special thank you to all the people attending.

What an honour to be the youngest candidate in the same ward where I grew up and still reside. I am so grateful to all my community members who voted for me and I am even more grateful to my volunteers who took time out to campaign for Young Leadership.

I further congratulate Brad Butt on becoming our community's voice at City Hall and all my fellow candidates who also put their name on the ballot.

The movement for young leadership has only begun. This is the beginning of a long journey.

The greatest right we have as Canadians is the right to vote. I have voted in every election since turning 18. We should all get out the vote with the day of advance polls left in Mississauga.

I had the opportunity to launch a local soccer tournament by Kestrel CanadaMauritius . Our parks need upgrades so we can continue having activities like these. It's amazing to see some many people using our parks.

Gratitude turns what we have into enough. Happy Thanksgiving Mississauga!

Today is the last day to vote at City Hall. The major advance polls dates are coming up and will be available from the 13-16 at Courtneypark library and Vic Johnston Arena.

My volunteers work day and night to put signs up. It's not fair that our signs are being violently destroyed and stolen from private property.

The community needs younger leadership and we will continue to spread our message in a democratic and lawful manner.

Kushagr Sharma, 26, is a multilingual lawyer and used to work in Mississauga MPP Anand’s office. He says he’s running in Ward 11 to help reduce crime and congestion in the city.

“Young leadership is what the community needs,” he said. “I'm the most qualified person and the community will benefit a lot with younger leadership, someone who is willing to work the extra hours, willing to listen to every single person and their needs, and someone who's grown up and understands what it's like to live in Ward 11.”

I had a wonderful time this morning meeting with the members of our local senior community! Thank you to Shubh Helping Hands Foundation for organizing a fundraiser which will help buy important medical equipment in Kartarpur, Punjab.

As a Councillor For Ward 11, I will continue to fight for our seniors and improve our healthcare and long term care home in the city of Mississauga.
