Brick inspiration from a residential project we supplied last year. Selecting the right brick for this design was undoubtably important in order to execute the architect's vision - any old brick would not do. In this case we have a 16" Roman size brick from Belden in Ebony Black colour. Thanks to the Shima Homes (builder) and Facho Masonry (contractor) for the outstanding work.

Belcrest Black molded brick gives the façade of the Grandview Yard a unique, highly detailed character, complementing and contrasting against the tones of the buildings opposite. Playing subtly with vertical and horizontal patterns of projected brick, details are used to create unique designs on the building’s envelope, adding texture and relief to the surface.

Mason's Masonry Supply carries Rinox Stone products!

We have a new exterior display at our Richmond Hill location showing Rinox's Lorado stone in the colour Almond White. This display was installed using federal white mortar with regular brick sand to best suit this white stone. Many thanks to Joe from Keyside Masonry for the excellent installation work.

We have once again updated the displays in our Richmond Hill showroom!

Olde Colonial Stone is offering new colours in both their thin veneer and traditional veneer stone selections. This display shows Midnight Black—one of the darkest natural stone thin veneers available—and Timothy's Blend Ledgerock, a unique blend of blues and greys.

As always, Olde Colonial was meticulous in their preparation, and the installation went very smoothly. These sample displays are so well made, they should last as long as the stone they represent. We are excited to have these new products to expand our ever-growing selection of thin veneer and natural stone! We've updated the displays at our Richmond Hill showroom! Come see the new colours available for Permacon Lafitt Stone, including Oasis, Blizzard, and Terra.

This feature wall recreates the popular Laffit Stone "Princess Margaret Blend," with a flush joint to give the wall a "rubble" look. Our showroom also displays a blend of Laffit Blizzard mixed with a small percentage of Scandina Grey, which we think may be the next new trend.

The masonry contractor for all of these displays is the inimitable Charles Henderson of Charles Henderson Masonry. As in the past, we rely on his skill and attention to detail to make us and our products look good. Thank you Charles!

Last Thursday, the Mason's Masonry team attended Permacon's social event in Vaughan. It was a great opportunity to network with our industry peers and see Permacon's new (and forthcoming!) products.
