Meet Mazen, an 11-year-old Palestinian boy from Gaza who underwent life-saving heart surgery in Israel this week by Israeli doctors. He is the 6,000th child to have been saved by Israeli NGO Save A Child's Heart.
Mazen is just one of the thousands of Palestinians who have received life-saving medical treatment in Israeli hospitals.

Another very courageous Muslim inspiring the best of humanity...I hope others may follow his example and stand up to Hamas.

Ya Allāh! Purify my heart from hypocrisy, my actions from riyā (showing off), my tongue from lies and my eyes from treachery (evil glances); You are aware of the treachery of the eyes and what the hearts conceal.

The holy war is not a war between people but against yourself, Strike the evil inside you and tell the good grow.

For the day when mothers can see their children grow up without fear

A believer in peace must have room in his or her heart to hold compassion for all people on all sides.
We must find room in our hearts for two truths. You are most certainly not a traitor to your people if you hold empathy for the other people and grieve their loss of life and suffering. You are no less a loyal member of our own tribe if you wish the other tribe the same freedom and security that you long for yourself. If you are pained by and call out the callousness, sins and violence perpetrated by your own side, you can still be proud of your identity.
There is humanity on all sides, and both have equal rights. We must remember and support that common belonging, for in the end we are destined to live alongside each other. Our fates are bound together. This is the creed of the peacemakers.
As we in Roots struggle to live up to our values at this moment of supreme challenge, we hope that all of you around the world will do your best to do so as well. May we serve as an inspiration to you, and may you serve as an inspiration to us.

Growing up I heard a passing statement that Jews and Muslims are cousins (…virtually somewhat genealogically speaking somewhat, all things aside). How cool a concept ☺️

I pray that one day Jews and Muslims and all others can again live together in respect and harmony… God willing and not let any third parties ruin the fun…

I don’t know when people will learn to stop posting dead bodies on Social Media, it is so inappropriate, just the fact they can’t talk or express themselves doesn’t mean we should disrespect them. No one wants to be seen in their worst and a dead person is not an exemption. It is against our culture and faith
