Resplendent Quetzal:

This is one of the beautiful birds you can find in Costa Rica or in Central America. When it flies it spread its beauty and I was in "AWE" when I first witnessed it. The first picture tells you how much I was in love with this bird and its beauty as I forgot to click the shutter on time.
One thing I learned over the years, sometimes its best to enjoy the moment and experience rather than capturing or documenting the moment. This was one of those moments as we patiently waited for the bird to take flight. A moment I will always remember every second of it. Yes the photo was blurry but that reminds me that at times its just simply take all in.
Male Resplendent Quetzal is far more beautiful like in any Animal / Bird kingdom. These birds lives in high mountain areas and I was lucky to see them during my visit to Costa Rica. Hope I did some justice to show how beautiful this bird is. Interesting fact - this is not the national bird of Costa Rica and if you want to find out google it.
