The chocolate cookies 🍪
that are healthier than your salad. These cookies are sooo delicous 😋and made only with super foods like almond flour, coconut flour 🥥, tahini and 70% dark chocolate.
Dessert never felt so good 🙌

INGREDIENTS 🥥

1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
1 egg or flax egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup quinoa flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS 👇

🔹Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.

🔹Beat together the tahini, syrup and sugar until smooth. Then stir in egg and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and stir to form a dough. Fold in the chocolate chips.

🔹Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet and gently flatten with your hands.

🔹Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

🔹Dunk in a glass of almond milk and enjoy!

The habit that has you feeling exhausted 😓, unmotivated and unproductive.

Don’t sleep 😴 on sleep: A study published by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine found that poor sleep quality was equal to binge drinking 🍸and ma*****na use in determining performance.

This means that if you are not sleeping well you are performing as if you were drunk 🥴 and high consistently without the euphoria.

This is what helps me sleep better 👇

1. Use an eye mask. Complete darkness lets your body know that its time to sleep 😴

2. Don’t relax with alcohol 🍸 before bed. It will initially feel relaxing but it’s been scientifically proven to disrupt your sleep cycle = poor sleep.

3. Get your TV and all screens 📲 out of the bedroom. Train your mind that the bedroom is for connecting with yourself and your partner 👫(if applicable). Placing physical distance between entertainment, work and light 💡creates a better environment for relaxation and allowing sleep to occur.

If dishes were life characters this one would be my muse. This daily staple of mine keeps me feeling inspired, full of energy, vibrant and feeling sexy like any good Muse should 💃🏽

INGREDIENTS 🥬

3/4 cup (175ml) low-sodium vegetable stock, divided
1 cup (250ml) flat-leaf parsley leaves, divided
1/2 cup (125ml) lightly packed fresh basil
1 tablespoon (15ml) white miso
3 coves garlic, roughly chopped, divided
2 tablespoons (30ml) extra-virgin olive oil
1 cup (250ml) finely chopped yellow onion (about 1/2 medium onion)
6 cups (1.5L) lightly packed thinly sliced lacinato kale or baby spinach
1 package (12 ounces/350g) firm tofu
1 1/2 cups (375ml) frozen peas
Salt
Red chili flakes
Freshly squeezed lemon juice

DIRECTIONS 👇

In a small blender, combine 1/2 cup (125ml) of the vegetable stock, 1/2 cup (125ml) of the parsley, the basil, miso and 1 clove of garlic. Set aside.

In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add ht onion and cook, stirring often, until soft and glossy, about 5 minutes.

Add the kale and the remaining 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable stock and cover the pan for 2 minutes to steam the kale. Stir in the remaining 2 cloves of garlic.

Crumble the tofu into the pan, add the peas, and heat through, about 5 minutes.

Pour the herb juice over the tofu scramble. Stirring until the liquid is absorbed. Remove form the heat and season to taste with salt, chili flakes, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix in the remaining 1/2 cup (125ml) parsley and serve.

Not feeling loved? 💔 Having difficulty sustaining loving, nurturing and committed relationships 👫? The place to look is at your relationship with yourself.

When you alter the relationship with yourself 🥰, your external world will alter acordingly.

Think about when fall into romantic love, nothing changes externally but you walk lighter and the world 🌎 is more beatiful, this is because your external world is a mirror ✨ of your internal world.

Self-love affirmations allow us to create love 💓 from within so we can identify it in the exterior world and create more loving relationships.

Try these affirmations for a week in the morning and send me some love if you received some, love is in the air ❤️🥰😍😘

Sitting long hours all day? 🧑‍💻 ⁣

Feeling stiff and with pain?⁣

The number one advice from Yale university for remote workers when it comes to office ergonomics- Keep moving 🚶🏼‍♂️⁣

“Even with the perfect office set up, you shouldn’t sit in a chair all day 👩‍💻Instead change positions, stretch and adjust your chair as needed. Try making a change every 25 minutes”.⁣

This is what I like to do 👇🏼⁣
1. Get a desk where you can also stand and work.⁣
2. Get wireless headphones 🎧 so you can walk as you take calls.⁣
3. Get on the floor, your back will love the change in position.⁣
4. Get a light stretch band to activate your muscles during breaks or calls.⁣
5. Stretch lightly in breaks.⁣
6. Get a second or multiple monitors at eye 👀 level. It gives you opportunities for movement.⁣

The key is to switch positions often, we were made to move! 🏃🏼‍♀️⁣

Our bodies are up to 60% water! 💦the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water! The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%. When our bodies are dehydrated our whole system suffers 🤕

The most powerful health upgrade you can implement in your life- Stay hydrated 💦 make water your new BFF. If you do, this is what he will do for you:

1- Makes you look good by improving your skin complexion 👩🏻
2- Increases your energy as all systems work optimally 🏃🏻‍♂️
3- Helps you think, focus and concentrate better 🧠 - Foggy brain? Grab a cup.
4- Promotes weight loss by optimizing metabolism.
5- Keeps you regular... 🙃 and happy I would argue

When it comes to water, don’t go for the gold on this one. Aim to have clear p*e, this is a good indication that you are staying hydrated.

Make fun and delicious by adding fruit and herbs 🥗, make it more nutritious by using mineral water.

Feeling stuck? Here is the only thing you need to know 👇🏼⁣

How do you go from a sense of being stuck in your problems 🤯 to accessing an open and positive state of mind? ☺️⁣

Shift your attention from the “story” you are telling yourself 🤨, things like QUARANTINE WILL NEVER END, gyms are closed, I’m not good enough, maybe it’s not meant to be, Love is not for me, to your inward experience 🧘🏻‍♀️⁣

Use your breath to pay attention to your body then use this new awareness to confront your agitation and discomfort 🥴 directly in your body.⁣

You will realize that as you sit with discomfort, it will go away on its on. What keeps us in the agitation loop is that ignore our discomfort, we tried to hide from ourselves with tv, food, alcohol, etc 🥳⁣

Have you been taught to be “desirable” but not to know or how to create what you desire? 🤨

Do you feel desire is really risky? You either get to have a family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 or a career.

Do you feel like you don’t deserve your desires because you need more income 💵, more education, higher status 🤴🏻, lose more weight, to have a better home 🏠. Basically you don’t get to do this because you have not done that?

I want to suggest that your dream life 💓 is found in your desires.

I want to suggest that your desires are your god given compass revealing what you need and where to go 🔛

I want to suggest that life is born from desire, can you feel it? 🤩

Coming from a punishing and guilt ridden religious and cultural background feeling at ease with desire has always impossible. It wasn’t until I started to receive health coaching sessions that I discovered my own voice 👆🏼my own desires 💓, my freedom
not what someone else wanted or what I thought society expected of me.

I want to suggest that LIFE IS BORN FROM DESIRE.

Hip and back health are to to our sense of well being. Try this 4 minute⏰/ 4 movement routine to restore your natural mobility and feel loosy goosy. 🧘‍♀️

Perform each movement for at least 30 seconds on each leg. Use it throughout your days as a break or simply to find relief.💆‍♂️

1. Bent knee hip opener
2. Straight leg hip opener
3. Half split
4. Side to side hip mobility

Energy that you can feel good about 🙌

These gronola bars are in my top 10 everyday recipies from because they are delicious 🤤, have no refined sugars and are packed with super foods 💪. Perfect afternoon pick up that you can feel good about 😁

INGREDIENTS 👇🏼

2 cups (500ML) grated carrot (about 4 small carrots)
1 1/2 cups (375ML) gluten-free rolled oats
1 cup (250ML) h**p seeds
1/2 cup (125ML) raw pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup (75ML) dairy-free bittersweet mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoons (7ML) cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon (1ML) salt
1/3 cup (75ML) mashed ripe banana (1 small banana)
1/2 cup (125ML) raw tahini
3 tablespoons (45ML) pure maple syrup
2 teaspoons (10ML) orange zest (from 1 large orange)
2 tablespoons (30ML) freshly squeezed orange juice

DIRECTIONS 🧑‍🍳

Preheat the oven to 350F (180C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients until it becomes a dough.

Press the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly until about 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick.

Bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown and let cool for 10 min.

What’s on your pleasure list for today?

Why do I ask and what’s pleasure have to do with manifesting your health goals? 🤔

Our habits determine our quality of life and pleasure is what drives our habits.

If a 5 am run feels pleasurable 😊 then that’s what we will do. If it feels pleasurable to binge on Netflix and pizza 🍕 then that’s what we will repeatedly do instead.

You might say, yes Hans but I don’t like running. This where the good news starts 🤩, YOU CAN CHANGE WHAT YOU LINK PLEASURE TO. So if you have pleasure habits that contradict your health goals 🍟 you don’t have to feel like a victim or feel like you can’t do anything about it.

This knowledge changed my life and it helped me approach any personal challenge with curiosity 💭and ask the question “what do I link pleasure to?”

Asian inspired salad 🥗

Another favourite salad of mine, I like to enjoy this one when I’m in the mood for something spicy and citrusy, it hits the spot just right.

Salad Ingredients
4 cups of Salad Mix
1/2 avocado 🥑
Cherry tomatoes halves 🍅
1 shredded carrot🥕
1 small broccoli bunch chopped🥦
1/2 of a yellow pepper
1/4 of cup of fresh coriander

Dressing ingredients
3 tablespoons of soy sauce or tahini
2 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil
1 lemon 🍋
1/2 teaspoon of chili garlic sauce🌶

Boost it with
Teaspoon of minced ginger
1/2 a clove of garlic

Burn Fat in 20 minutes! 🔥

This 20 min HIT routine will have u feeling good 😃 right away and it’s easy to perform anywhere. Since it’s time based it will adapt for beginners and advanced trainers.

Exercises🏃‍♂️

1- High knees
2- Jumping Jacks
3- Drop squats
4- Mountain climbers
5- Rest

Instructions📝
Set a timer for 5 minutes.⏰
Perform each exercise for one minute or as much as you can. If you can’t finish the minute you rest for the rest of the minute. Once minute 2 starts, you start with the next exercise until you perform all exercises. After the 4th exercise, rest for one minute and repeat 4 times. Total time will be 20 minutes. Perform 2 times per week to complement your other routines
or to get started if you are not active.

Feeling stuck in your health right now? 😐👇🏼⁣

Try this 4 step process to overcome your limiting beliefs 💭 and get the results you want.⁣

Step 1: Identify your limiting belief 🤔 What is my current belief about my health? It could be “To be healthy I have to dedicate my life to exercise and eating boring food” 🥴⁣

Step 2: Realize beliefs are just beliefs. We all have different beliefs so who is right? We all are! because there is no right or wrong belief, you simply choose to believe it or not 😏⁣
Knowing this, if you choose to believe in something different you dont have to be right, you just have to believe 🤩⁣

Step 3: Find the belief that gets you fired up 🔥and ready for ACTION! It could be something like “ Learning about health could completely change my life for good 🙌⁣

Step 4: Take action now and repeat, repeat, repeat... 🤸🏻‍♀️Did I say repeat? 👆🏼⁣

How did you build your current beliefs? By repeating behaviours that validate your current state over and over 🧠. Then to change a belief we must repeat some NEW, if we want NEW results. ⁣
