Hi, we're Fitzgerald Enertech, and we're working to clean up the environment with a renewable product - the SOFLO (Solar Flow) Battery. We decided that the energy had to be plant-based and the components biodegradable, and because of the great advances in organic energy in recent years it was clear that we would settle on combining organic flow battery technology with solar energy.

Ocean pollution is a major contributor to the complexity of greenhouse gas emissions. The gases get trapped in the water, heating it up and depleting it of its precious oxygen, which affects marine life and agriculture. We need to kick our plastic habit and replace it with renewable polymers that can break down naturally in nature. So, we use organic polymers in our products to ensure safe recycling and disposal practices.

We're working to clean up the environment with a renewable product - the SOFLO (Solar Flow) Battery. It's our signature contribution to green technology. The initial goal in development was to create more efficient lithium chemistry for energy storage and delivery. In considering the dangers of lithium manufacturing, we decided that the energy and packaging of our batteries had to be plant-based so the components were biodegradable. And with the great advances in organic energy in recent years it was clear we'd settle on combining organic flow battery technology with solar energy.
We are pleased to share that the electric motor and electrical components of our development car will be powered by small solar panels integrated into the body. These components will direct the solar energy to an integrated SOFLO that's encased in our signature eco-polymer (Chlorotex). SOFLO technology will be available for a variety of uses, including powering your home, and utilities of the industrial sector.
To support development, Fitzgerald Enertech has created a platform to connect with a racing enthusiast audience, called Formula Fitzgerald. Born from a passion for SIM racing in Esports, “Formula” came about to create a portal for young inventive minds to develop green technology products for the automotive world. Our intention is to invite students, gamers and STEM professionals to share their projects at a live event where participants can present their inventions at a tech expo to potential partners and customers who will be in attendance. There will be a live SIM racing competition, and a live track racing competition. Public attendees will get a chance to try out the simulator and unreleased demo products. Formula Fitzgerald will also have a paid branch where amateur drivers can enroll in an academy to learn how to drive single-seat, open-wheeled vehicles. Benefits for paid members include a Formula Fitzgerald racing suit and gear, and after completing their instructional course, a drive in a retired Formula 1 car. Youths who would otherwise not get the chance to have such an opportunity, will be invited to join our Racing Academy through local community centres. It’s a feel good opportunity that rewards people as well as the environment.
This clean energy initiative will roll out in stages beginning with the battery development that will then be used in cars in a Formula Fitzgerald SIM racing game. The data collected in this game will then be used to develop the car. It’s an exciting journey that encourages STEM learning and a feel good opportunity for all ages that's also rewarding for the environment. Welcome to the team!
