The table is covered with food, but I am taking only the French onion soup.
I love it!
However, I can only anticipate how hot it is, straight from the oven, how much cheese or onion there is... where are croutons or at least a slice of buttered toast?!?
I still love it and approach it carefully, gradually becoming comfortable with the unknown, with the only decision to be g r a t e f u l for a hot meal.
(Did you notice how many facial expressions I made, even before taking the spoon?)

Every morning in my dental hygiene room, I make that same decision. I like to call it a "master guide" because it will influence all subsequent decisions I would make that day.
How will I approach the day?
How will I handle my emotions?
How will I keep my focus?
How would I like to feel at the end of the day?

All these questions may be answered with the same "master guide".

Over thirty years ago, IT helped me overcome beginner's anxiety when I was just starting my work with pediatric patients.

We need to be present and curious about the person in our dental chair. We need to understand and include them in dental hygiene preventive and prophylactic work. Only then will our efforts help make sustainable results and the role of a dental hygienist invaluable.

Nous sommes ravis de vous annoncer notre premier événement de soins dentaires gratuits de l’année, une initiative parrainée par l’organisme Gift from the Heart et qui sera possible grâce à la généreuse participation de 6 hygiénistes dentaires bénévoles et 4 cliniques d’hygiène locales. 💪❤️

Par troisième année consécutive, c’est la Maison Internationale de la Rive-Sud qui aura la gentillesse de nous accueillir et qui collabore activement avec nous dans l’organisation.
