Our Dr. Kapanova co-created the supercomputer in Bulgaria, and it was officially inaugurated by EU & Bulgarian government officials. To say we are proud of her is an understatement. A big accomplishment was made, and we would like to say a huge congratulations to all the people who worked on Discoverer.

View from Brussels: EU supercomputers start to boot up An EU-funded supercomputer, which will be one of the top 100 most powerful in the world, was fired up last week in Bulgaria, in the latest example of Brussels adding to its computing arsenal. Our CTO presented to the European research community an overview of infinityQ's quantum analog approach and its applications in the life sciences during (Mathematics of Life Conference 2021, Hissaria).

The talk was followed by a round table discussion about the future of quantum and why quantum analog is more beneficial from the perspectives of computational speed up, energy efficiency, and integration with classical systems.

We say ‘quantum analog’ a lot - but what is it exactly?

Allow us to explain: the systematic relationship between a physical system and a primary one has allowed us to develop a new computational approach: quantum analog computing. This is because all computation (digital, analog, etc.) is based on analogy, or a systematic relationship.

In all computation, the relevant mathematical structure of the problem is realized in the physical states and processes of the device, the only difference is how direct this realization is. Therefore, any computing paradigm (whether analog, digital, quantum, etc.), is at its heart a mathematical study.

Having a resilient tech allows us to be prepared for black swan events. To put it simply - it allows us to adapt, recover, and thrive quickly from challenges and uncertain times.

infinityQ Founder & CEO Aurélie Hélouis On Female Entrepreneurial Success In Tech Aurélie Hélouis, former senior officer and CTO in the French Navy, is the definition of a leader who can perform under pressure. Her engineering background paired with an MBA from McGill University allowed her to found her quantum analog computing start-up, infinityQ.

We recognize as one of the most pivotal holidays in North America, ending slavery in the US (though it still persisted for years under thinly veiled pseudonyms). For the black community, there still are opportunity gaps, biases (explicit and implicit) and systems put in place that beg for improvement. We sat here planning this post and realized we are a diverse start-up, but still ignorant, in need of education and effective representation as we scale. So we want to hear from you....
