After a wild season on the FWT23, we brought French freerider back to her roots by asking her what she liked most about her hometown.

"Everyone knows Chamonix, it’s the Disneyland of the mountains with the advantages of a small town. Everything is possible: climbing, biking, hiking, mountaineering, and, of course, this attracts people. It’s good because you always have someone to share an activity with, but on the other hand it's sometimes maddening to see so many people and it's hard to score first tracks on a powder day."

Cet hiver, Orage est fier d'offrir 8 semaines de cours de ski aux jeunes de la Fondation Christian Vachon. ⛷

Grâce à cette initiative, 35 enfants de milieu défavorisé auront la chance de découvrir le ski, et de retrouver un peu de liberté en temps de pandémie. En plus des leçons gratuites, chaque enfant s’est vu remettre un équipement complet pour la tenue de leurs cours.

"Par l’entremise de ces cours, nous souhaitons faire
découvrir la montagne à ces jeunes et ainsi transmettre notre passion pour celle-ci." dit Eric d’Anjou, fondateur et propriétaire d'Orage.

Rattaché(e) au responsable de la boutique, vos responsabilités au sein de l’équipe seront :
* Accueillir la clientèle dès son entrée dans le magasin.
* Vendre et promouvoir nos produits
* Assurer un bon service après vente, les retours et les litiges.
* Gérer le stock de produits.
* Répondre aux appels. téléphoniques des clients et gérer les courriels.
* Fidéliser la clientèle, grâce à votre relationnel en lui apportant des conseils personnalisés et un service global de qualité.

Qualifications
* Expérience liée à un poste similaire en vente, idéalement au contact de produits sportifs.
* Bonne connaissance du milieu des sports de plein air (ski, snowboard et vélo…)
* Vous parlez couramment français et anglais.
* Vous êtes dynamique, autonome, enthousiaste et avez le goût du challenge !

It’s Earth Day! 🌎

As winter sports enthusiasts, we feel that we have a great responsibility towards the environment and the people who allow us to live our passion. We are so proud to have become partners with Protect Our Winters Canada this year.

Today we invite you to join us in unblocking an important bill on climate policy. Bill C-12 (Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act) will set legally binding targets aligned with Canada’s commitments under the Paris Climate Agreement, but it’s been sitting in limbo for the past 142 days.

The new Bill C-12 could be the next successful send in developing climate laws in Canada. Right now it is in a headlock in parliament and needs our help in order to be set in stone.

We may very likely have a federal election called this year. If this happens, all legislation that is stuck in limbo including Bill C-12 (Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act) gets scrapped.
