Local boy fires air riffle for the first time with the Moose Jaw Cadets 13-year-old Cadet Lincoln Seabrook of 1856 Moose Jaw Schools, Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps, in Moose Jaw, had the opportunity to fire an air rifle for the first time. Cadet Seabrook shot the rifle on a range at Camp Saskadet near Kelvington, Saskatchewan on July 28th. Seabrook says his experience...
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and experiencing new adventures! With that being said, the adventure part.. I was reminded today that I need to say my good byes to you and this amazing Corps. I have taken off on an adventure myself, I moved to Wainwright, Alberta the end of July.
I remember the first day I walked into the cadet office and met Capt Linda Rutherford and Lyle Johnson. They made me feel welcomed with open arms! The rest is in the books 🙂
The hardest part of my decision to move to Alberta was leaving the cadet corps. I have seen cadets grow into amazing young adults. I may not tell you personally but I’m so proud of every one of you!!
I know the cadet corps will definitely carry on with new adventures and memories. I can’t wait to see or hear of it.
Take care and see you again, one day!
Capt Nicole Taylor, CD
