I’m making some hashbrowns on a sheet. Never done this before but should work?

I soaked the grated potato in cold water

Squeezed all water out

Added melted tallow and butter

Added Italian seasoning

Garlic powder

1 of Sandra’s eggs per 4 potatoes (look at that egg yolk Colour!)

Salt

Pepper

I meant to add chopped green onions but forgot 😆

Bake at 400 degrees

Not sure how long as still in the oven but I think 40 mins?

Have you made this before? Is it a thing?

What’s for supper?

I threw together some leftover steak, cheese, chips, tomatoes, fresh hot peppers, salsa and sour cream. 🤤

Soup is life. 🥣

Well, for me at least.

It’s so versatile and nourishing and there’s endless flavour combos.

It also is quite forgiving.

I’ve added beef tallow, egg and grass fed butter to this chicken soup from High Regard Artisanal Catering & Kitchen.

Look at those generous chunks of chicken!

This soup is gluten free. You can add your own noodles or rice or anything.

I love Milu’s!

They use Earnest Greens to make Hundreds of their famous fresh rolls every week.

The restaurant also has from scratch pho made with real bone broth and they make their own kimchi!

I went and picked up Totopos chips from Tropezón Mex/Can Food at Rebbelion and then I made a secret personal Shopping trip To Italian Star Deli 🤫

I needed their bruschetta to eat with the totopos chips! And they have giant jugs of olive oil that I need as I make my own mayo. Was only $59.99 for 5 litres of nice olive oil.

I missed getting photos at Hotel Saskatchewan but the food always looks amazing! I love their dedication to local food.

Then I went to Crave Kitchen + Wine Bar!
The kitchen has such a great vibe! I ran into Mike Boss who is a FANTASTIC chef that worked for us when we had a restaurant. VERY talented cook!

I am Excited to see what they do with the morels and these microgreens! 😋
