Did you know? One in three victims of human trafficking globally is a child, and girls are disproportionately affected.
Online platforms pose significant risks as children are lured through social media and the web and then exploited into forced labour, criminality or begging, sexual abuse, trafficked for illegal adoption and recruitment into armed forces.
Communities play a vital role in raising awareness, providing support and partnering with change-makers to reform policies. Learn more about The Salvation Army’s Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking response and get involved today to help . https://bit.ly/4cxhhd1

Many of our neighbours across Canada are struggling to afford food, and the summer months can be especially difficult for families with hungry children. When school programs end, many students go without the meals they rely on to fill in the gaps.
You can help keep children's bellies full during this summer. Please give generously. https://bit.ly/44Irmkl

We got to celebrate national donut day by appreciating our front line workers, thank you for all you do!!!
Hello, Moose Jaw, the sweetest day of the year is here!🍩🍩
June 7 is National Doughnut Day, and we want to bring our signature Salvation Army doughnuts to you and
your family at home! Follow our simple recipe at SalvationArmy.ca/Doughnut and remember to share your
delicious creations with us.
Happy baking!
National Doughnut Day, held annually on the first Friday of June, has a fascinating backstory. It was
established in 1938 to honour the courageous Salvation Army's "Doughnut Lassies." These remarkable
women served freshly-baked pastries to soldiers during the First World War, providing comfort and a taste of
home.
Today, the humble doughnut symbolizes our commitment to social services and helping those in need.
This Doughnut Day, June 7, let's extend our gratitude to frontline and essential workers in our communities.
Whether it's a sweet treat or heartfelt words, your support makes a difference! ❤
