I have under 2 weeks to finish my latest work titled "The Magic Basket". It is the prelude to my steam punk toad where 2 forest creatures discover a magic basket that turns them into ravers! At least for a night lol

Here is our lineup for 2024! I have been curating this gallery since 2017 and what a great learning curve it has been. Many challenges, but also so many rewards!

I did my first "live painting" gig ever at the fabulous Shambhala Music Festival pre-party on Saturday night, it was so much fun! I wore my bumpy pom pom hat to go with the bumps I was painting on my new toad

My next painting is a continuation of the Esso story, only this work shows how a toad and grasshopper were turned into ravers. It's the MAGICAL Basket they found under the solomon seal plant!

Its that crazy time of year again, and we have an amazing lineup of great art at BASScamp Gallery for 2024! Those of you who are attending SMF 25th anniversary pre-party on June 29th can find me live painting in the chill lounge. Yikes! I'm excited to share a little detail of my latest 24"x24" acrylic painting featuring a Steam Punk Toad named Esso, and his mischievous buddy. I am close to finished and will post a process reel.

I start my acrylic painting process with a detailed pencil sketch, so I would like to introduce you to my newest western toad creation.
"Esso". Here in his steampunk attire, he is a bit greasy and loves the color black lol!
Next I played around with the background and added a tower from the Village Stage at Shambhala Music Festival. Cant wait to see where this leads me in 2024

In April we viewed a 1965 character home here in Nakusp, and fell in love! Now my challenge is to turn this mid century madam into my boho style dream. FIrst I am removing the upper cabinet doors, so I can display my Fire King collection of 50s dishes. Next the cubbards get a new distressed paint job.
