Happy Easter!! Enjoy this lovely long weekend. I have new details for my classes. I realize everyone is going to be busy at home preparing for this holiday, so I will post the new class offerings after the long weekend. They will now be held at the Senior's Centre, out of the Revelstoke Community Centre. Cheers, everybody, have a wonderful Easter weekend!
Hope to have a location secured on Tues.
Will be posting the next available class time asap.
Hi Everyone, just a head's up that I need to postpone this Sunday classes due to a need to change venue. I will have an update for you on Monday the 25th.
Here's one I made over the winter. This is a convertible bag. Depending on how you attach the straps, it can be a sling bag, a cross body bag, or a back pack. Waterproof canvas and cotton canvas throughout.
Decided to try a tall bag for maybe a big beach towel or a yoga mat. 12 inches wide but because of it's height, it looks narrower. I think next time I will make a beach bag that is wider than tall. The trim and the bottom are cork. The interior is waterproof canvas. Main exterior is cotton.
Took a first run at this beach bag. Found some wrinkles to iron out in the pattern, but still lovin' it!
Hi folks, just added a note to the classes. I need to place a deadline to register on the classes. I"ve added the deadlines to the event listings, however, I'll mention it here as well, for convenience. For Tues, March 19th Bag Making evening class, the deadline to register is the Sunday the 17th. For the Sunday, March 24th class, the deadline to register is Friday March 22nd. Thanks everyone!!
Lastly, I just finished this yesterday. A cute baby bib.
This is a fun hand bag I made using vinyl.
Here's a fun tote bag that has a laptop sleeve inside. Great for travel! It's called the Road Tripster by KDill.
Next up, a waist apron. I'm not very photogenic so I opted out of putting a photo of me wearing it. :)
The first photo is a table runner I made for Easter. Some fun with heat transfer and ribbon. Here's a different angle.
Here are some of my latest creations.
Here's some pot holders that I made last year.
More things have been worked out on my website. You can pay for classes on the website. Still configuring a way to register on the webiste, however, you can currently sign up with your name and contact info through my page by direct message, as well as sending me an email at: [email protected]
