Extension Dog Sports

Bc/Yukon Regionals 2024 team! I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to go, run their dogs and represent our club. As usual, the loudest cheering squad and some amazing wins for each team. I’ll try to share them in our stories this week as people get home and get some photos to me! 🥰❤️

Hope everyone gets a much deserved rest this week then back to training for next year 🙌🏻

Woohoo! 🎉 Please join me in wishing Mike and Lou congratulations on their accomplishments at what is both their first AAC National Championships. They took home multiple placement ribbons and 8th place overall. They did fantastic in such a tough class of amazingly talented little dogs! 🌟🥇

Eve at 16 weeks practicing holding her sisters ribbons to holding her own a year and a half later. We have 1 spot left in our Foundations for Dog Sports class starting tomorrow night at 6pm for 6 weeks. Start your dog off on the right paw with foundation skills that will set them up for success with whichever dog sport you want to play! It’s official! June 9-11 2023 BC/YUKON Regionals will be held on Vancouver Island near Campbell River. Mark these days off on your calendar and come join the fun. Classes start next week and I can’t wait to start prepping everyone!
In addition to classes each month we will be having workshops or fun matches to get you and your pup feeling ready to go.
And yes, I know y’all want to the swag! Who’s in for some custom jibbitz ?!And if you have any other cool swag ideas pls share!

It’s snowing! ❄️ Usually I’m super excited about the first day of snow but this year I’m already ready for it to be warm again 🥶. Throwback to baby being a perfect puppy and this past summer listening intently during their foundations for dog sports class! 🥰 Check emails/fb regularly for updates if I have to cancel classes due to snow. Hope your pups are all enjoying the first snowfall of the season 🐾☃️

📣 Introducing Extension Dog Sports!
Teaching handlers how to get the best from their dog while learning how to play the super fun game of Agility.
Where did the name Extension Dog Sports come from? Well after A-LOT of indecision on my part and help from students, I came home from teaching one night to this hand drawn logo design Sam had created and I knew it was the one. Not only are we located in Extension (South of Nanaimo) but Harley, my first agility dog, only runs in extension! I am so happy to have my heart dog as a part of my business logo. She is my best teacher and has given me opportunity to be in part of a world and community that gives my life purpose. I wouldn’t be the teacher or handler I am today without her. Huge shoutout and thank you sooo much to for turning drawing into a reality. It’s PERFECT! ❤️
