Welcome to Vancouver Island Giveaways!!!

This page was created to allow members of the public to win some amazing prizes with great odds of winning and to help funnel some of the proceeds into local Vancouver Island charities in need.
The concept is simple really but some explanation is required to keep things streamlined and efficient for all! The basic idea is that anyone who buys a VIG sticker is entered into a complimentary draw. The winner must answer a skill testing question, in order to claim his/her prize.
Giveaways are not affiliated, sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook in anyway.

ALL ITEMS ARE BASED OFF RETAIL PRICE NOT SALE PRICE AS SAID ITEMS CAN NO LONGER BE ONSALE WHEN WE ORDER IT. THAT WAY WE CAN ALWAYS GET SAID PRODUCT WITHOUT DELAY TO THE WINNER.

VANCOUVER ISLAND GIVEAWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TAXES ON ITEMS OUTSIDE THE PROVINCE OF BRITISH COLUMBIA.

An admin will post a giveaway item, if you want the chance to win this item you have to purchase one or more stickers. To purchase this sticker, you comment which number you would like on the giveaway item(indicating you’d like to purchase a sticker). PLEASE IF YOU DECIDE TO PICK ANOTHER SPOT PLEASE START A NEW COMMENT AS WE CAN EASILY MISS SUB COMMENTS AS WE DONT GET NOTIFICATIONS FOR THEM. We will then accept payment for the sticker(s) once all the spots are filled on the giveaway. Must be 19 years or older in all provinces. Giveaways are not open to residents of Quebec or any country outside of Canada.

Until the post is full there will be no payment option available so please don’t message about payment. Just sit back, relax and check back on the post every now and again to see if its getting full.

Payment! Once all spots have been filled the post will be updated with payment instructions. An E-mail will be provided for E-Transfer. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR SPOT NUMBER & ITEM IN THE MESSAGE SECTION OF YOUR E-TRANSFER as this will make it much easier and more efficient for us to process. YOU WILL HAVE 24 HOURS TO PAY ONCE THE POST IS FULL OR BY THE DESIGNATED AMOUNT OF TIME IF STATED ON THE POST. If you do not pay within the 24 hours the allowed time your spots will go up for grabs to anyone else that may want them.
Unpaid spots cannot be called prior to the poster stating they are open. When the admin/poster says unpaids are open it is on a first come first serve basis. If payment has not been received on opened spots within 1 hour after being called they can be opened again to the next person who wants them.

A Live feed will be done once all payment has been received. We will try to do this as quickly as possible. We will use Random.org to pick the winner of the item.

Winners will be asked a skill testing question to claim their Vancouver Island Giveaways winning item. If winner cannot be reached in 3 business days a redraw will occur and a new winner will be chosen.

6.
SHIPPING
We have estimated most shipping for the items we post anything above that will be on the winners expense. (It doesn’t happen very often)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY: To obtain free entry into the draw we will require you to mail in a hand written request for a sticker and what post you would like your free spot for. Please contact for address to mail too. Return postage must be mailed with the request. A spot will only be granted if their is a spot available. If post is sold out or drawn no free spot can be granted.
