Welcome March ๐ท โ๏ธ
The start to this month has been a perfect representation of the transition within our inner worlds.
Its a time where the days are slowly becoming brighter and life beginning to return. Followed by snow storms, rain and unpredictable weather.
Itโs truly the time of balancing the yin and the yang.
January and February are the most notable months for compassion fatigue (which is the stage before burn out).
Signs of compassion fatigue may look like;
- A decreased ability to empathize
- Irritability and impatience
- Decreased productivity
- Feeling hopeless/ depressed
- Trouble sleeping
- An urge to isolate from others.
Compassion fatigue effects a vast majority of people but is especially felt in those working as caregivers, space holders, empaths, parents, counsellors.
Those who are in the position professionally/ personally for holding the light for others while they move through the inner darksness of winter.
As we move into March May we all be met with the return of the light, not just with solstice around the corner but also in our hearts ๐.
Be kind to your physical and emotional needs. Carve out time for yourself, nourish your body, and have honest conversations about your journey.
๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท
.
Just a reminder, you can still be a kind soul AND walk away from environments that are good for your mental health.
Say no, take up space, stand up for yourself, have boundaries, live a life that makes sense to you and allows you to bloom, flourish, feel happiness & choose whatโs best for you ๐ค๐ค๐ค

Happy full moon ๐
The first full moon of 2024 lands in firey leo ๐ฅ ๐ฆ.
Full moons offer a time of introspection and the energy of this full moon brings our attention back to our heart.
Itโs a time to reevaluate our relationships, connections and soul contracts. There is a big push to move forward passionately pursuing our dreams and our deepest hearts longing, itโs important to surround ourselves with those that fill us with joy, love, and that fuel our fire. It also might mean taking space or letting go of people, places, careers and things that do not spark such joy & have chronically left us in a state of depletion. Leo invites playful, fun passionate energy into our lives and have an aura of confidence and loyalty that canโt be matched.
May this moon offer you the space to reflect on what fills your cup and makes you feel alive, and the courage to let go of the things that drain your energy!
Enjoy the ride moon ๐ beams!

What do you love?
We speak most often of our dread, our worry, our judgements. We are fed fear through the media then we open our mouths only to regurgitate that same fear. Caught circling, passing, handing the baton of turmoil. I see how little we speak of whatโs joyous to us, simply because we have forgotten to feed ourselves with love.
To sit in the raw present moment with the heart inside of us. To remember we are each held together by a love that knows no bound. We are here to grow & to know love. Letโs not speak about what hurts but what heals and sustains us through this hurt.
So friends, what do you love?
I love the morning minutes before the day opens when the sky is deep blue and sun is but a hallow. I love quite walks through the forest listening to the birds, the drift sound of water running near by, the smells of the trees. I love cold rivers with sandy bottoms, I love a long lingering embrace hugging heart to heart. I love laughing so hard it hurts that tears stream down my face. Iโm curious friends, what do you love?

Today marks the third January of 2023 and considered the saddest day of the year ๐ข๐ Daylight is at a premium, nights are long and cold, holiday bills are arriving, and most of us are the furthest away we can be from the next thing to look forward to. Those warm and fuzzy memories of the holidays โ gone. The New Year's resolutions made with such earnest determination โ broken.
We are receiving less than 9 hours of daylight at this time so it might be a good opportunity to invest in a vitamin D supplement, red light therapy or to take mid day breaks outside.
Winter is considered yin Chinese elemental theory as we no longer have things to reach for outside or ourselves we have the opportunity to turn our gaze inward and reflect. Itโs a time to feel big feelings, to take a mental inventory of our life, what is working and what isnโt. To invite spiritual practices the extra darkness is a wonderful opportunity to connect to oneโs intuition and guides. Itโs a time to plant mental seeds of the direction we want this year to go and to nourish our bodies with gentle movement and nourishing soups and stews. To nourish your mental health partaking in counselling, energy healing, meditating or maybe even cold water dipping could help nourish the mind as we transition inward.
Be gentle on yourself today I hope you take time to nourish your mind, body and spirit ๐๐๐๐๐

One difference of working with animals is that they donโt have such a strong ego mind. Meaning they are able to let go of the past and heal much quicker. Animals are much more natural in their bodies so when blockages and emotions are released the results are seen much quicker than humans.
The practice of animal reiki unifies the divine spirit and human spirit.
By realizing that us humans are not separate from the animal kingdom we are equal and apart of the natural world.
We are not in nature, we are nature.
