Message from client we are helping
Amiga is a lovely 4 yr old girl looking for an active family . Her previous owner could no longer care for her so it is important to me that she find a wonderful forever home. She is very smart and catches on quickly to home routines. She has a bit of basic obedience and needs work on a recall. She was never out off leash so this is a must for her.
I have had a vet check-up and all is good. Her biggest issue is excessive weight. This needs to be addressed to help her stay healthy.

Exciting News🎉
Starting Monday Dr. Sophie Scotter will be joining the Mahalo Family as an associate Veterinarian. A bit about Sophie.

Sophie is originally from the UK and first obtained her degree in Zoology from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, with a focus on marine mammal conservation. Taking a break from school, Sophie spent 3 years living and working in Arctic Norway, conducting whale and walrus research in Greenland and Svalbard with the Norwegian Polar Institute. After this amazing opportunity Sophie went on to become a Veterinarian and qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2022

After travelling to BC for work on her dissertation on humpback whales in 2013, Sophie has been eager to return to BC. We could not be happier that we have found her as she is the perfect fit for Mahalo.

In her spare time, you will find Sophie enjoying the outdoors with her partner, either hiking, paddle boarding or sipping coffee at their local beach. They share their home with their four legged kitty Fig !
