Omnia Cauldia in the kitchen in order to tie flooring to cabinets, And Fir A3022 in the bathrooms for a splash of needed color. It really allows the flooring to pop and shine.

Omnia Carrara Mist compliments the warm bathroom lights, the fixtures, and the white cabinets by tying everything together.

Proof that sometimes simple works best. This is a great highlight of Fir B4001. This cooler white takes on a bit of a gray tone having other appliances and the flooring compliment it.

New Azul Aran held no punches! The sleek cabinet design coupled with the multi-tone granite gives a hard-to-compare, 10 out of 10 design straight out of a designer magazine. No dog though, so the London fog will have to win our little 1v1!

Photos from Island Granite's post 02/06/2024

Omnia London Fog's kitchen is up to bat: With the complimentary black-and-white cabinets, and plenty of lighting, this stone does WORK tying that bright, clean flooring into the rest of the room. It even matches with the good boi in the bottom right photo. How will New Azul Aran respond? Find out tomorrow!

Photos from Island Granite's post 02/05/2024

What does yesterday's Omnia London fog and today's New Azul Aran have in common? If you guessed material, you'd be incorrect! New Azul aran is a Natural Granite, and Omnia London Fog is a quartz, which is a manmade stone. But there's also one more thing they have in common. Yep! They were used in the same home! Albeit, never in the same room, but for competing kitchens in the same home! I'll show off the kitchens over the next couple of days so we can compare what works better. Stay tuned!

Photos from Island Granite's post 02/04/2024

Omnia London Fog is a dark gray-brown (though mostly gray) stone with warmer cream veins that complimenting what little brown is in the gray. Try saying that three times.

Overall it cools down overly-bright rooms while also tying wood tones into a dominantly modern black-and-white motif, which allows a bit more color to thrive.

Island Ahoy! This titanium Granite kitchen table is a gorgeous focal point.
.. Were you expecting more on this? It's awesome. Look at it :)

Photos from Island Granite's post 02/02/2024

Adding to yesterday's veining demonstration, Lets look at where veining initially seems "a lot" and how it works in certain scenarios. Here we have TCE 2038, a strong-veined white stone, which compliments this kitchen because....? Yep. Nothing else it soo busy. It's mostly white, with a wonderful light wood floor, which means there is room for a focal point to be added, which the stone does really well.

02/01/2024

Vanity highlight! Sometimes veining can be overwhelming, but bathrooms are usually exceptions. Due to the small size, even busier, unnaturally linear veining brings on a nice feel in smaller areas like this one.

Honestly, I think this stone was the last of its kind. This Granite is a weird mix or Cold Spring and Sierra Nevada, but with a purity similar to Kashmir white. I've only seen this once, and it worked so well here.

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/30/2024

Fir A3022 is a cornerstone in gray quartz stones. It's clean, it's not too light or dark, and it helps cool down what could have been an overwhelmingly bright kitchen into something much more tame and trendy.

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/29/2024

Omnia white sage ties the green cabinets together in this completely unique designer kitchen. I honestly think white appliances were also the right choice. Would it have been overwhelming with stainless or black? Or do you think it would have looked better?

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/28/2024

Shiny! This high-reflection fleck in the Royal C1026 stone causes more pattern in a moderately conservatively patterned room. Without that fleck, do you think it would have been too bland? Or would the bathroom tile carried the room into success without the quartz?

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/27/2024

Similar to yesterday's TCE 4001 stone, this quartz has a slightly larger fleck, and the simple white breathes "light" into a lower suite and bathroom that doesn't have as much sunlight as a main-level kitchen does.

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/26/2024

another TCE4001 job, plain white. There's nothing fancy about this quartz, but the contrast between the cabinets speaks volumes. Sometimes simple is better, and this is one of those cases.

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/25/2024

And this proves without a shadow of a doubt that Granite still has it! This Santa Sicilia granite doesn't give the room a "modern" feel, but instead adds to more of a high-class regal aesthetic. The kitchen also is pretty big, so that helps too.

A full Absolute Black Granite waterfall with a high gloss finish. If you look straight down on it, you can see a nearly perfect reflection. It's also really hard to photograph without glare!

Black, white, a touch of teal with the feature wall. It's simple, and elegant. It allows for the glass cupboards, and enables you to feature colors that would otherwise cause clutter.

Irah White dunes is a simple, cost-effective stone. Works very well with the gray cabinets.

RH 8010 makes another return, this time featuring both black lower and white upper cabinet. It truly is a universally good stone.

Boop! This little counter features an extra little hole for can and bottle recycling! Little modifications like this can give your kitchen our counter a whole new purpose, and is also included in the square foot price from Island Granite.

This kitchen, featuring a drop-in stove also has a nice full-backsplash which lines up with their future range hood.

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/13/2024

You would think with the similarities this granite has to the "blue pearl" granite, it would be called something like black pearl... Nope! Someone took a stone that already looks nothing like it, and named it black pearl, leaving this one the name "Angola Silver-black". Oh well, I guess the early bird doesn't just gets the worm, it gets a name far more suitable to another material as well.

Day 3 of the showcase, we have DMK 9970 Calcatta Guava in all of its glory with this massive island! The precision work on this to fit around 2 beams was a bit tough, but visually, it worked out quite nicely.

Photos from Island Granite's post 01/10/2024

Day 2 of the showcase features the Omnia Cyprus quartz, which compared to other "white veiny" quartzes, is much bolder, features darker, almost black veining, and a much higher non-linear pattern. It's perfect to lighten up gray kitchens with not a lot of anything going on, whilst also allowing for trickier seam placements.

This week we're showcasing the countertops we installed in ! this mid-tone gray quartz works perfectly with the gray cabinets, black and stainless appliances, and high-pattern wall cabinets, giving a modern, but industrial feel to the room.

Fir Y9016 goes against the traditional white with cream and instead flips it using a black base. The sparkles that are normally unnoticeable in it's sister stones, Y9001 and Y9008, show up much more in this one, giving it a look of a starry night.
