We corrected her lips by covering up the previous work by using the proper colour theory and technique. It’s so important to pick your artist wisely that has experience with correction/dark lip neutralization when getting this service done. It will save you so much time and $$ in the long run ✔️

Working with Mature Lips 💉🎨

As we age, our skin elasticity starts to decline and produce less collagen.
Working with Mature lips can be tricky as you need to take into consideration that the lip will be more sensitive. It’s important to have the correct stretch while working on Mature lips as they are thinner‼️

Here above we did only 2 passes for the first session as we don’t want to create trauma onto her lips since they are more delicate.
It’s better to gradually build more with each session rather than implementing multiple passes in one session ✅

Fresh Powder Brows 🌟

These brows will fade into a more softer look once they are fully healed. When she comes back for her touch up we can go bolder, adjust the shape if necessary and fill in any spots her brows didn’t retain ✔️

These results above are healed over the course of one year. We were able to take her lips to a natural pink tone where you can’t even tell they’re tattooed.

Dark Lip Correction after 2 sessions ☑️

Understanding colour theory and studying your clients tones are the secret in producing great results, not everyone’s correction requires the same pigments. It’s also important to understand that every lip heals differently depending on their body, undertone and lifestyle 🍑

Remember that Neutralization procedures do require time and patience. It can take a minimum of 8 weeks to see the colour bloom and heal naturally 🌸

These beautiful lips are healed after 3 sessions. My client and I have been dedicated and determined to get to her desired lip goal of creating a natural even pink tone all throughout her lips.

Client waited a few months apart before coming back for additional sessions. Lip Neutralizing takes time and patience and can sometimes require multiple sessions as the skin is more thicker and has more melanin.

Comparing the before and healed is so satisfying because we get to see the big difference in her lips. These results can last up to 5 years 🙌🏼

Tattooing warm colours on anyone thats a Fitzpatrick 3+ has always been my go to, because once healed warm tones always makes a person look more lively and happier. ☀️

Orange/coral colours will always cancel out dark spots or pigmentation when it comes to neutralizing, in my experience this is the technique that works the best! 💯

Matte or Gloss? 💋👄

Always a struggle deciding between these two. My personal go to has always been gloss because I love how it gives that extra pop to your lip, but matte always looks so posh and classy!
