Ok, now before you roll your eyes and say "ok, sure" hear me out....
Recovery IS a reality that you too can have. It just requires the right building blocks, and to be totally honest with you, decision making POST Recovery house. That is where comes into play. I mean, who wants to tackle some of the hardest moments alone when you can do it surrounded by likeminded people, in a community that is safe and feels like a home? 🙋
Its all about your mindset and approach when it comes to recovery, and we believe community and commitment sit at the top of that list. Also, lets just be honest with each other...doing your step work in a cozy spot like this sounds like a dream [and it could be your reality 😉]
Connect with us today, send a DM, Call us [604-553-1099], email us [that is still a thing right?!] [email protected].
The most important part is, investing in you and your recovery journey. What that looks like is up to you!
Creating a safe and stable foundation is crucial for sustaining progress and preventing a return to past habits. Sober living houses like Maintain Recovery provide the supportive environment needed during this transitional phase. Structured routines, accountability, and mutual aid support groups foster growth and help individuals navigate the challenges of early recovery while reintegrating into daily life.

One of the best parts of is how we pull together and work as a community and team when it comes to cooking! It also allows us to share a little bit about our own cooking styles (along with teaching some people how to cook!).
Back by popular demand…Go Carting 🏎️

Today, let's embrace the power of progress. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating. Remember, in recovery and in life, each day is an opportunity to grow stronger, wiser, and more resilient. Take that step, embrace the journey, and believe in your ability to overcome. You're capable of amazing things
Recovery is a journey of self-discovery and resilience. Embrace each day with courage and determination. You are stronger than your struggles.
Go, A La Carting!
“Cooking With My Son”, could be a show
We made our first episode yesterday
It was a lot of fun and rewarding for all
Beyond the palette, it is love that improves taste
To put yourself, into a meal, has reward beyond Ego
To see what you taught, reflected back, is savory
Five stars, in my mind, no tip needed!
What better way to celebrate, than going Go Carting?
For every Start, there must be a Finish
Regardless of the place you come in
And on an indoor racetrack, I had never been
So, we loaded up in the gas guzzling machines
Loaded Google, to tell us where to go
Where to turn,
When to watch for traps,
Just how far to go,
To get us to the racetrack,
Right on time,
Every time
There was excitement, in the air
We had to register our Race carts name
If that name you chose, had already been taken
You could be “Mario 27645”!
Or, Soon to Crash #1
Or, ONTHEBUS555
We put white bags over our hair
I guess to cushion the helmet
Or, keep the bugs away
They sprayed them anyway
Bugs or Spray, I’ll take the bugs
Someone else must have had them anyway
The cars were started in a line
Rules and penalties explained
If it’s flashing yellow, you got to slow
If it’s flashing red, you got to go!
If you crash, stay on the track
We all got in and revved our engines
I smelt the adrenalin in the air
I felt something crawling in my hair
I didn’t car, the speed would blow it away
Then in an instant, we all were off
Round and round we’d go
When to stop? we all hoped never
As all our adrenalin began to flow
And surged, to satisfy that primal core
Screaming, squealing, speeding, smashing
Into the sides or in to one another
No matter we were all brothers from a different mother
And no one to tell us what to do
Except the guy who’d been there much too long
Or the mechanic, who had to fix
What we’d made wrong,
Certainly, not intentionally
I could have done it for hours
Just for the communion with my son
I’m proud of him
The path he chose
The work he’s done
It’s Sunshine for me
As we rip round the track
I can hardly wait to get back
Go Cart or not
It is for him that I go.
I am proud!
Starting my mornings with gratitude for my recovery journey! 🌞✨ Whether it's journaling three things I'm thankful for, mindful reflection, or empowering affirmations, each day is a step forward. 🌱💪
