About Us
Northern Waves Swim School offers a wide variety of swimming lessons in a safe, welcoming environment. Located in Newmarket, Ontario, we provide lessons for babies, toddlers, children, and pre-teens, ranging from 6 months to 15 years of age.
At Northern Waves we believe in building lessons that are suited to each childās needs. Working hard and improving studentās swimming skills is achieved through fun-filled activities and exercises. For the younger students, our main goal is to have them fall in love with being in the water, and slowly introducing fundamental skills by using a variety of games, songs, and toys. Studentās who are already working towards perfecting stroke technique, increase fitness, and gaining leadership qualities are encouraged to push themselves to their best abilities. We want to see our students get the most out of their time at Northern Waves. With that said, personal goal setting is our way to have each student to reach their potential, while having fun and learning lots every lesson of course!
Above all, building comfort, confidence, and a love for being in the water is the main goal here at Northern Waves. See you in the pool!
