Today is the first day of many providing Dental Hygiene Care to the residents here. I had 5 clients and all showed excitement and gratitude to have me come in and that "just cleaned" feeling of smooth teeth 😆😅

That really made my day. Everyone expressed how its been years since a dental cleaning. Such a rewarding feeling for me. Most seniors do not go for regular dental visits because of the inability get to an office so I bring the office to them.

Captured beautiful pictures of what I saw in front of me on my drive to my Mobile hygiene client and on my way home.
My client is bedridden and has muscle atrophy with no reason as to why. 80 years old both her and her husband that have been together for more than 60 years. The last 3 times I have gone to care for her dental hygiene needs, I was in the presence of true love watching how her husband cares for her 💯 on his own. Always by her side as I clean her teeth encouaging her to open wide and every once in awhile cracking a joke as she moans in response. What struck me the most after I was done and packing up, my assistant and I complimented him on his impeccable care for his wife and he said " She's my baby " Wow!!! That's true love. Right to the end. I told him both of them were so lucky to have found eachother and my client definitely lucky to have found a loving husband that cares for her even with her disabling illness.
Most couples fall apart when one gets sick or their looks change.
So I appreciate my life and everything I have even more when I see clients in final stages of their life and I'm so grateful I can help as much as I can. I know my clients are thankful for the service I provide 🙏 🙌 😌 ❤️

She was making sure I was being gentle.

Some whitening cases are more of a challenge but I am always up for it. In this case my client had multiple tones and shades that most likely manifested during the development stages of the adult teeth. I asked her if she had an illness where she had high fever which she did at the age of 6 and 7. Well I applied whitening solution first to the darker areas to lighten closer to the other shades then whitened 2 more times for 20 minutes intervals. The client was happy with the results and so was I. phewwww!!!

In this case I recommended another session in 2 weeks and fabrication of whitening take home trays and gel to continue because her stains are intrinsic. Amazing results for first time.
