An interesting story about how the universe 💫 has a plan⬇️

Almost 2 years ago to the day we were on the hunt for our flagship location and I toured this building. I had an amazing gut feeling about it but something was telling me to wait.

Our company has gone on a wild journey since then and opened our third location in Bruce County, Port Elgin (which also has more news coming soon!).

Two years later I went back on the hunt for our second location in Ottawa and to my surprise, this location was still available. The universe waited for us! Now we are smitten and ready to mould this large space into the look and feel of our company.

The universe does what it needs to do if you listen and act with intuition. There’s a web woven around you and when you can tap into it, magical things occur 🪄

Thanks to all of you out there 🙏🏼 that have been watching our journey and to all our newcomers who are looking for what we are doing next. And to the whole: we won’t disappoint you. We have so much more in store 🙌🙌🙌

Revolution loading…. Longevity is my newest old passion and this is your official invitation to my journey.

During a recent conversation, I realized something about myself. I have been on the longevity journey for a long time. Since I was 14. I was a “chubby” kid between the age of 10-13 I had some “extra weight” and I was embarrassed. Going into high school I hated myself. My outward portion anyways. On the inside I always felt I was a good person who had lots to offer.

I lost 40 lbs with some hard dedication, changing my eating habits and developing my own exercise habits. And they have stuck to this day. They became a part of me, and I feel more in control. I feel better leaner. And now I know exactly why. It’s not vanity at all.

If you asked me then why I did it, it was vanity. And then I started to learn about science 🧬😍. Then I did it because: I WANTED TO BE AN AGILE OLD PERSON. How was a teenager looking so far ahead? I believed deep down inside I wanted more control and I knew I would always want it, especially when I was older.

The message: What we do to our bodies now (regardless of current chronological age) gives us a LOT more power than we think to be in control of our bodies in the future.

Fast forward in biochemistry in my first undergraduate degree in my 20’s, I started to understand what cancer was. But why are these cells going wonky?And our metabolic processes. And DNA. And how each action in life adds to how our DNA expresses itself. Our behaviors matter. Our environment matters. The messages we give our DNA, every single input matters!

The best analogy I can use is to look at our friends the flamingos. Flamingos 🦩 are white. But what they eat, primarily shrimp, turns their feathers pink from the pigment molecules in the shrimp. Eventually our behaviours become a part of our physical fabric. Most of us have about 7-100 years to become our environment.

It’s far more complex than this but this is something we can see with our eyes. A lot of people understand better when they can see something with their eyes.

In 1987 I was born a farmer’s 👨🏼‍🌾 daughter in Northern Ontario, in a small farming town.

My father is a farmer and together with my mother, raised me and my siblings in our farmhouse. Our farm is a mystical and magical place, through the eyes of a babe. Through my eyes today, it’s my safe place, a place of refuge and my therapy.

Growing up, I was never assigned typical farm chores but when I look back my role was to observe. And every day of my life thereafter. My parents ensured I had all I needed to see for a full life and full heart ahead.

Observing hard work, determination, pivoting, disappointments, financial struggle, and smiles and laughter the whole way through, I am a warrior of humble origin. I am a dreamer that makes life feel limitless. 💫

I’m ready to share my roots, so you can understand where I’ve been. Just make space for the tallest tree coming up 🌳

Last week I spoke at The Queen of The North Summit in Northern Ontario. I talked about business and my journey to scaling my company. I also gave some statistics on women-owned businesses in Canada and aimed to inspire other extraordinary female leaders through my successes (and my “failures” - they always go together).

I spoke alongside sensation duo and from The June Motel series as well as a Miss Canada Tourism leader turned luxury realtor who turns imagination into reality. I also spoke alongside some other phenomenal female powerhouses I did not capture in photo.

I witnessed two amazing women, Sara from and Jess pull off an incredible inaugural event. 👏👏👏

Thank you to all of the guests who came up to me, or contacted me afterward to tell me how inspired they were to hear me speak. Shout out the angel that had to stand through my presentation because I gave her goosebumps and she wanted to watch me in all my glory from a standing position at the back. 🤗
