Anri’s Transformation 🤩

Anri dropped 6 dress sizes and 23% body fat.

However after implementing a nutrition plan and weekly workouts, the weight soon started to drop and her transformation soon followed as you can see.

My wife and I were driving through North Van earlier today visiting a business and right beside it was Piteau Associates, the business my dad started in 1976 and owned before his passing in 1984.

The business is still running today with 140 employees with 11 offices in 7 countries.

There is an award called The Piteau Award, established in 1985, is named in honor of my dad, Douglas R. Piteau, who distinguished himself early in his career as an expert on landslides and rock slope stability.

This award is presented to a Member who is age 35 or under and has excelled, either singly or in combination, in the following areas: Technical Accomplishment, Service to the Association, and Service to the Engineering Geology Profession.

I was 2.5 years ago when he passed away and didn’t have enough time with him.

What could have been if he was still here?

Maybe I would have followed in his footsteps and become an engineer.

God knows.

But what I’m grateful for is that I’ll see him again one day thanks to Jesus and what He did ✝️.

What a phenomenal weekend…

1. Walked my sister down the aisle at her wedding.

2. Visited church for the first time and got to hear papa preach.

3. Got to spend quality time with my treasure

4. Got to meet my nephew and niece for the first time and hang out with my other sister and her husband

5. Was able to travel with my mom which I haven’t done in years.

Such a blessing all around.

Take time away my friends…it’s good for the soul.

Emmy’s Transformation 🤩

When it comes to losing fat and building muscle, the primary focus needs to be these 3 main things:

1. Be in a calorie deficit
You don’t want to be in a massive deficit as this will backfire as your metabolism will slow down making it really challenging to lose body fat. However if you are in a deficit say 250-500 calories per day or 10-25% of your maintenance calories, then your body will lose between 0.5-2 lbs per week.

2. Prioritize protein
Aim for 0.82 g of protein per pound of goal bodyweight. This will ensure you have the resources to build muscle, stay satiated, reduce cravings, and limit your calories.

3. Resistance train with progressive overload
Resistance train 3-4 days/week for 40-75 minutes and aim to increase the load and/or reps every workout which will ensure you are getting stronger and building muscle.

If you CONSISTENTLY do the above week after week, you will build muscle, lose body fat, AND reach your weight goal.
