This beautiful bouquet by (see on story) was one of the most unique and stunning bouquets I have ever seen! It was super lush with lots of different varieties of white and cream colored flowers, many different greenery and grass and even some herbs, oregano and mint, which made it even smell more heavenly!

Now, even though a 2 day delay on shipment of this bouquet, by the courier, ruined some parts, I was able to salvage enough to create this frame; this was only possible because lots of in season, locally grown, high quality flowers were used for this arrangement and I CANNOT EMPHASIZE the importance of this enough!

It’s always always always without a doubt is best to go with florists who are focused on locally grown, in season material!

I have received many bouquets from prominent florists in town with low quality, sprayed, imported flowers that would maaaaybe look good on the day of your wedding (and cost a leg and arm more) but result in the worst pressed flowers🤦🏻‍♀️

Again… I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH! Choose your florist wisely😉🤗

This bouquet went through A LOT! When Jessica contacted me for their May wedding, I didn’t have availability for their date! I was very hesitant to take it as I was going to be out of town and I could not receive her bouquet 5 days after their wedding! it was a huge risk I was not prepared to take! On top of that, I didn’t even know that this stunning bouquet by was supposed to travel from Hope to Jasper for their wedding day!
Despite my many recommendations to her to go with other great preservationists, she insisted on wanting me to preserve her bouquet and OH MY! I can not thank her enough to pushing me to do this! I LOVED LOVED LOVED how these frames turned out! They will be one of my absolute favourite creation’s for sure✨ Thank you Jessica & Bart for letting me be a part of your union celebrations🤍

“How large my bouquet should be so there is enough material to work with?”
This is one of the most common questions I get asked by couples who want to preserve their bouquets!
The answer is that it’s not about the size; rather it’s about the variety and quality of the blooms!

For example this bouquet in the picture was not a very large one, but it had many different varieties of flowers! This will allow me to have a lot of textures and shapes to work with and have more possibilities when designing and creating the art piece!

Quality of the blooms are equally important as LOCAL and IN SEASON flowers are the absolute best to work with! Because they have not been through a lot traveling long long distances in coolers, and sprayed with god knows what, before getting into your hands!
So do your research and choose your florist carefully if you want to have your bouquet preserved🤓

Story behind this frame:
D contacted me and asked if I could recreate their wedding bouquet and frame it in time, so that he can give it to his wife C on their anniversary😭 Apparently C loved a frame I made for one of their friends and wished they knew about this when they got married few years ago and that sparked the idea on D’s mind to do this for his wife!
So I was over the moon to be a part of this beautiful story and made this frame for them💕 He even snuck out a few pieces from their original bouquet which was air dried, so that I could include them inside the frame as a sentiment from their special day… isn’t this the sweetest gift ever?!!!! 😭🤍
