This is still by far one of my favorite projects that we've completed.

It added such a nice focal point to this living space.

These Miter clamps from are fantastic for pre assembly of door and window casing. Apply some glue and clamp your miters nice and tight with the specialty pliers included in the kit. Once the glue dries you've got a tight and solid joint ready to install.

Must have tool for interior finish work.

Cleaning up some framing and getting some board installed in this basement utility/laundry room

Demo days lead to new and exciting spaces. I don't think it's anyone's favourite part of the job but it's a necessary evil.

Capping some stairs today

Spent the morning putting together some steps to replace the rickety old unsafe step this family had been using to get in and out of their backdoor.

The old rise was 10 INCHES which is way above the maximum of 7⅞ that is called for in the building code.

The herringbone detail in the corners is by far my favorite way to do a corner. Miter corners have always been the standard but I personally feel as if they never stand the test of time. Eventually things shrink and move and the miter opens up and looks awful. These corners will always look this good!

It was a pleasure to work with the folks at Davisville PS to bring this schoolyard little library to life.

We recently wrapped up this beautiful French door project. This was once a bare opening into a multi use space. Now we've created the privacy necessary to make this perfect for a home office or guest bedroom.

Gave this old deck and railing a facelift to help extend its life for a couple more years

This two tone composite deck is a real eye-catcher. We especially like the way the colour change accentuates the inset stair case.
