One of mine (Margarite) is Dr. Wayne Dyer. For those unfamiliar, he was an author and motivational speaker. His words continue to inspire me in all areas of my life.

Why did we get into this business?

For us, getting into interior design was never about receiving accolades. Our driving force, what speaks to our hearts, is creating homes that are much more than just the place where we sleep.

So often, many of us get stuck in a vortex of working, hustling, and trying to achieve more. The constant acquisition of bigger and better is not what we need. What’s missing is the sanctuary we’ve neglected to build for ourselves.

Our goal is to create a home that you feel at peace within. Where you recharge and refocus effortlessly.

That is our purpose.

Here is an example of how art should be used for impact and function.

This black & white abstract is impactful on its own, but it’s the scale and proportion of this piece in relation to the wall size on the stairwell landing that creates drama. Not only is this piece interesting and in proportion to human scale on the 2nd floor, but it’s fully viewable from the main floor.

Scale is an important and often overlooked consideration.

This kitchen we revamped is on trend for 2024! Brown is making a comeback, as are warm tones in general like beiges and creams, so the cabinetry, barstools, flooring, and backsplash are all looking fabulous and sophisticated in this Oakville home. Also, we need to highlight these handsome pendant lights with their cool metal shades (another 2024 trend).
