Online Design Thinking Summer Camp
(For Grade 6-9 students)

The goal of this camp is to help students learn to become problem-solvers. Problems are all around us, this course aims to engage students to use their unique perspective of the world to see problems as opportunities, and to learn the basic framework to put those ideas into action!

About the coach
Sam’s entrepreneurial and marketing journey has gone from top chocolate bar salesman in the third grade to co-founding a digital marketing firm that generated over $3.5m/yr in new, recurring revenue for clients.

Combining a lifetime of marketing mentorship from working at print, radio and digital marketing properties, Sam connected with 10,000+ students at U of T Mississauga as the Entrepreneurship Program Lead at ICUBE UTM to help startup teams grow from ideas to multi-million dollar valuations. Sam was also an instructor at UofT for entrepreneurship, business development and marketing.

Recently Sam has completed his Master of Information (focusing on User Experience Design and Information Management) and has been consulting assisting small to medium businesses, and emerging enterprises with their online marketing management needs.

Always open to pursuing a new idea, Sam’s career highlights include figure skating, Team Canada/USA duathlon, US Marines, entrepreneur, online marketing, concert promoter, charity work, academics and digital consulting!
