In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re hosting a special fundraiser this Sunday, September 22, to support kids and families battling cancer. We are celebrating three of our courageous young customers and cancer warriors: Niko, Ben, and Eloise. 💛💙💗

It has been a privilege to get to know these brave kids during their journeys, and we’ve loved being a place where they could enjoy a sweet treat on their toughest days.

To honor them, we’re donating all proceeds from their favorite treats and 25% of all in-store sales to the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer, their families, and survivors.

This summer was bittersweet … we had to say goodbye to three of our girls who are heading off to new adventures this September! While I’m so happy to see them spread their wings, part of me selfishly wants to keep them here forever 😊. Thank you for being such valued members of The Sweetest Thing team for these past 2.5-3 years! I can’t wait to see what you ladies do with your beautiful lives and you know you’ll always have a home here at the bakery 😭😊xoxo
