Keeping the hair being treated a good length allows your electrologist easier access to the hair follicle. If you shave between appointments, please allow 2-5 days growth. If your hair is long, please consider trimming the area prior to your appointment.

Any hair removal method that requires you to pull the hair from the root will slow down your progress. The hairs that have been pulled may take a few months to grow back therefore they may not be visible on your next visit to the electrologist. Pulling hairs out by the root may also stimulate more hair growth in that area.

If you need to do something in between appointment clipping and shaving is recommended.

Starting your hair removal journey can be exciting but we tend to want instant results. Electrolysis does take time and commitment. If you trust the process and listen to your electrologists recommendations the end result is worth it.
