Brynlee celebrated her 3rd birthday and asked for donations for our orphans. Thank you so much Brynlee we think you are an amazing and caring young girl!

Layla is an approximately 1 year old female American bulldog who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officer after she was picked up with hundreds and hundreds of porcupine quills in her face, mouth, paws and body. Layla underwent 2 separate surgeries on consecutive days to remove the quills and we are still finding them as they migrate out of her body.
Despite everything she has been through, Layla has the funniest, happiest personality and she loves everyone she meets. She has been playful with the other dogs at the shelter and she appears to be tolerant of cats.

Piper is an approximately 10 month old female shepherd/mal who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Control Officer after she was found running loose all alone. Piper is a VERY high energy girl who will require a family who are committed to exercising her body and brain. She is not a couch potato. If you are in to dog sports, this might be the perfect girl for you! Piper is good with other gentle dogs but she is not a fan of cats.

HORTON HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Horton came to us from the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officer and he was quite matted and uncomfortable. The staff at All About Animals made time in their busy schedule to help Horton feel his very best and get ready to be adopted. They said he was AMAZING and everyone at the shop is in love with him.
Thank you! As you can see from the pictures, Horton is feeling very proud of himself.

August was busy, as usual, and we took in 89 cats/kittens and 19 dogs/puppies. We reunited 10 cats and 8 dogs with their families and we found homes for 71 cats/kittens and 17 dogs/puppies!
We are ready for September!

They were extremely well cared for and loved and their Mom was heart broken when she had to bring them to us. These beautiful boys have lived with other cats and they do very well with multiple feline friends. They would love a chance to once again have a loving family to call their own.

It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that the sweet cat found in Charters Settlement yesterday has passed away. Despite immediate emergency surgery, Magnus was not able to survive his terrible wounds. We are heartbroken that he was not found in time.
Thank you to Dr Norby and the team from Oromocto Veterinary Hospital who dropped everything to help Magnus. They are equally as heartbroken as we are.
Please...if you see an animal injured or suffering, please call your local shelter. We wish Magnus had come to us sooner.
