Please be advised that the Oromocto High School will be conducting their annual Prom ceremony tonight, June 18, 2024, with roadblocks being in place to ensure the safety of attendees.

The closures are slated to run from 6:00pm-8:00pm and will be affecting Onondaga Street near the Hazen Centre, and it’s connecting streets.

Oromocto, get ready to celebrate Canada Day in style with our spectacular Pioneer Days Parade! On July 1st, let's come together to honour our heritage and show our community spirit. The parade kicks off at 11 AM, so make sure to find a great spot along the route to catch all the excitement!

🕚 March Off: 11 AM, July 1st
📍 Parade Route: Starts at the corner of Huron/MacKenzie and ends on Duplenne

But that's not all! We're proud to support our community by partnering with the Oromocto & Area Food Bank. Volunteers will be walking the parade route collecting non-perishable food items. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back and help those in need, so please bring your contributions and make a positive impact.
