We know that learning English is not easy, and we would like to help! Join a group of native English speakers (including a certified TESL ESL instructor), practice your conversation skills, learn about the Bible (a book that has had a profound impact on the English language), and meet some new people!

Our classes are FREE, and there is no obligation to join our church.

Good news! We are back for our 11th year of Upwards! Camp. After a succesful year at Queen Elizabeth Public School last summer, we are moving one door down to the Rideau High School (now Rideau Community Hub) this year.

As in previous years, we offer a free week of fun for kids in the Overbook area and beyond. During the week, campers get to play games, participate in sports, create art and music, and participate in STEM challenges. Lunch and snack are provided every day, and we finish the week with a community BBQ.

​This camp is sponsored by Christians from the North River Road Gospel Hall, and includes a time of Bible teaching every day.

It's Free! Spots are limited. First come, first served.

For? Kids ages 6-13.

Where? Rideau High School, 815 St Laurent Blvd, Ottawa.

When? July 8-12, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Daily.

We are excited to host our 2nd Family Day weekend conference this February 17-18, 2024!

Join us in Ottawa for ministry, fellowship and fun activities! The topic this year will be Spiritual Disciplines, presented by David Petterson and Matthew Cain. While all are welcome, the ministry will be targeted toward young adults. We hope to see you there!

Gym Nights are back!

What is it?
Sports & Bible nights are an occasion for us to serve our communities by hosting a weekly event for kids free of charge. This is an opportunity for families to connect and for kids to make new friends. Along with the games and physical activity, kids learn important life lessons from the Bible.

When is it?
It runs weekly on Thursday nights from October 19, 2023, to April 11, 2024. The time of the event is 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.

Where is it?
Gymnasium of the Queen Elizabeth Public School, 689 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa.

Who is it for?
Gym night is open to kids ages 8-15. Younger kids may attend on a case-by-case basis, but may not participate in separate sports activities because of safety concerns. Please contact us directly if you have a younger child. You MUST register your child with a form before they can attend this event.
