A beautiful shade loving perennial! Mini blue flowers mid spring to early summer, and has those beautiful vieny leaves for the remaining of the summer! Definitely 'pops' in darker mulched beds.

Wisteria vine! 😍

It is absolutely stunning in the spring, although green throughout the summer. It's definitely a stunning addition for the springtime!

This is also the same vine on the house in the show Bridgerton 🙊

We extended this garden and combined both neighbours' gardens to make it one big beautiful one!
Plants are small as we just put them in, but in a couple of seasons, this will be bloomin'!

Dwarf lilac bush with a beautiful butterfly 🦋 🥰

Lilac blooms are short lived, but beautiful and fragrant! The bees and butterflies love them too! Great addition to any garden

Definitely one of my favorites... but I have a lot of favorites, hahaha

Fantastic perennial that comes in a couple of different colors... but it does self seed a lot, so you need to clip the pods off once you see them, otherwise, you will get a ton of babies!

Chocolate Lily 🍫

This beauty is quite unique and has great colors! This perennial bulb plant is a great addition to any garden!

The flowers face & hang down, comes out first thing in spring, and it is grown from bulbs, like a tulip!

There are 2 types .. tropical and perennial

The perennial type is invasive.. so ensure to keep it in a pot, to keep it contained!

The tropical type comes in a variety of colors and makes a great house plant!

We were out cleaning gardens on Wednesday. Today, we are hoping this rain washes the snow away! ☁️

Yucca!

It's not only fun to say, but a great & easy perennial plant to have in the garden!

Comes varigated or not, and is quite unique with its tough sword shaped leaves. The flowers are quite show stopping themselves!

Make sure to tie them up before the snow flies to ensure they are happy and healthy come spring, as seen in the second photo

Look at this stunning Orchid! Costco definitely never disappoints when it comes to plants! They even have a nice variety of perennials come spring!

I know we posted about Orchids before.. but I couldn't help but share this beauty!! 🌸

We gave this dining room a fresh new look! 🎨 It felt a little dark, so we continued into the dining room with our "Blank canvas" white. Pictures don't do it justice, it feels so refreshing in there now!

Cacti flowers are so unique!! 🌵

Don't be fooled by the cacti with glued on flowers you find at Home Depot or Canadian Tire. Make sure to take a good look and ensure they are real! Different cacti flower differently, so take your pick!

Mums!! (Chrysanthemums) - the "Fall" flower 🟣

Comes in a variety of colors, bloom in the fall, loves the sun, and comes as either a perennial or annual, depending on the plant breed! They do great in pots or containers! The deep purple is definitely my "go-to" in the fall!

We lightened up this dark beige bathroom to a nice crisp white! They are preparing to sell, no better way to do it!

African Violet 🌱

There are two types, wild and tropical.

Here, we have the Tropical African Violet. It comes in a variety of colors and will not withstand these Canadian winters, so it must be kept indoors. It is easy to maintain, likes moderate to bright rooms, and is a generous bloomer when watered on a regular basis!

Wild African violets are quite invasive, so I don't recommend adding them to the garden unless they are in a pot!

We brought this room back to the basics! Started off with the classic green room, and now it is light and airy with a crisp feel! 🎨

While there are no perennials to take photos of right now, I love winter because I can take some much needed greenhouse therapy time! Tropical plants are our escape throughout winter!
