This quilt had 26 holes that needed repairs or replacement from a pupppy chewing. Finally finished it last night. The binding is hand stitch to give it a old look. Pictures are of the finish

My latest quilt restoration. This quilt holds a lot of sentimental value and Catherine was so excited to see the finish pictures. the quilt was made in 1967 by her mother and aunts. most important it was a quilt her late cousin had used when he lived with her family. His memories will live on.

New addition I got today. I fill down the Stairs back In January and put a one inch tear in the rotator cuff supraspinatus For the next 4 weeks I will be in a sling 24/7 and 12 weeks before I can start to lift. Looks like my motorcycle driving is out this summer.

Late night finish for a special little girl.

It been a long while since I have posted anything. After 7 months trying to recover from 3 hip surgeries I am almost back to some kind of normal. I have started to make custom clothes and do alterations.

I had hip replacement surgery 11days ago. I was a little too ambitious with my plans when I came home and I didn't plan for all the bumps in the road as this was my second hip replacement. Today I can finally say I am back sewing and in my studio. Sorry for not keeping everyone up to date, it was a very crazy week for me.

I was ask to recreate this bear that got lost in a fire. I am now putting the finishing touches on the new one

I am working with a family of a child with autism as well as working with a high school friend who works with children of special needs. I have started to build a cloth busy/quiet book. It is slow going to draw and cut up pictures to make each page. Each page will be a new skill and some pages will have a combination of skills. The pages you will be able to buy separately so you can build your book for your child's needs.
I will use fabrics that are bright and hopefully the fabrics are of things your child has an interest in. This book will be the sample book where you can pick out the pages you want for your child. My goal is to keep the cost down so they are affordable to all families.

One never knows what I have in my stash and sometimes not even me. Tonight I finished this dice bag for a client. I didn't have dice so I used my Harley chips. Made from rawhide.
