Neutral nursery vibes. Some of you might remember, I spent alot of time decorating this room. It's still my favorite room in the house! We're moving soon, beginning of August, so I'll be decorating a new space for Vance with his big boy bed. Can't wait!

I absolutely love this little basket. Perfect for a nursery!

I love hearing the stories behind the items that I source. This mirror is at least 50 years old as per the previous owner. And soon enough, it will have a new life in someone's else home! I wonder where it will end up in another 50 years from now...
What's your story? I'd love to know the story behind an old item that you have in your home ♡
Releasing February 16th at 7:00pm on the website site.
I love the colored fabric and gilt letters hidden underneath the dust jackets, you? ✨

My thrifted dining room ✨ It has taken me months, even years, for this space to finally come together. Talk about slow decorating!
The latest additions are the rug and pendant light. I finally feel like the space is complete!
I furnished this whole room for under $500.
Here's the breakdown:
⋗ Table: I got it on Facebook Marketplace (FBM) for $60. Believe it or not, it did not come with with chairs, but they match perfectly!
⋗ MCM Chairs: From FBM as well. They were very wobbly and had a beige velvety material. My parents helped reupholster and fix them. In total, they cost me $150 + material.
⋗ Wicker dresser: I got this from Kijiji for $10! It holds all my candles and packing tape lol We have a wicker wine rack next to it on the ground but you can't really see it.
⋗ Vintage art: I won this at an auction. It's a vintage print in an ornate frame. It adds the perfect amount of renaissance vibes to my space.
⋗ Pendant light: As mentioned, one of my latest finds! I'm obsessed with the milk glass & brass combo. It's super minimal and that's why I love it.
⋗ Mirror: I found this vintage mirror on FBM for $50. I don't think I'm ever letting this one go! It's not too ornate and that's why I love it so much.
⋗ Rug: Sourced directly from Turkey! I'm obsessed. It adds a perfect pop of color to my space.
⋗ Rattan arched shelf: One of my best finds ever! This was my first ever rattan shelf that I found and I had to keep it. Can you blame me?!
Hopefully this can inspired you to thrift for your own home!
There's something magical about vintage mirrors ✨

My love affair with Turkish rugs only began a few months ago. It all started with a mini rug that I bought from . Next thing you know, I had them all over my house!
They add so much life to a space, especially for someone like myself who likes to keep things pretty neutral. They're the perfect pop of color!
MEADOW is available in the shop now!
This is my favorite spot in the house. I usually have a rocking chair in this corner, since it's a nursery, but this vintage wicker beauty looks like it belongs ✨

"I don't resonate with Boho Valley anymore..."
If you've been following along, you'll know that I just made some huge changes to my business! I re-branded, and with that came a new business name as well.
Boho Valley was something I started on a whim in 2020. It was never meant to become this. But, I'm glad it did! To be honest not alot of thought went into the name.
Fast forward almost 2 years now and this page has become a passion project of mine.
My style is ever changing and so is my personal life. After I gave birth, I told my partner I needed to figure out how to simplify the "selling" part of this. So I decided a website was the way to go.
Also, I didn't resonate with my page or my logo anymore. I never really felt like I was "boho".
So I decided to start curating a collection of items that I personally liked and would use in my very own home. I noticed I was really drawn to renaissance, brass, ornate mirrors, and rugs.
I also wanted to create a page where I not only would sell my items, but engage with my followers.
So I reached out to Sara .doingthings and that's when the re-branding process began. And here we are 3 months later!
This is when Wallflower Vintage was born. I chose this name because I myself am a "wallflower" so to speak... I like to blend in! My decor style could also be described as such. I stick with pretty neutral things with a pop of color here and there. I also feel like my style is more vintage than boho. Although I do still love rattan, it's just not my main focus anymore.
Any other "wallflowers" out there?!
Hi, I'm Valerie! Alot of you may already know me, but if you're new here, I just wanted to introduce myself! I've been the face behind Boho Valley for almost 2 years now.
For the last few months, I've been working on some re-branding with the help of .doingthings. Sara helped me pick out new brand colors and created a new logo for me!
I decided it was time for my business to align more with my new mommy lifestyle, my own personal decor style that is ever changing, and personality... more on this later!
Welcome to Wallflower Vintage ✨
