Pride of place can significantly impact sense of community in several ways When individuals take pride in their community, they feel a sense of ownership and responsibility, leading to increased involvement and care for the community.
Pride of place can foster a strong sense of identity and belonging, creating a shared sense of purpose and unity among community members.
It also encourages community engagement, volunteerism, and participation in local events and initiatives.
Motivating individuals to preserve and improve their community's physical and cultural heritage. Bridging social and cultural divides, promoting social cohesion and will ultimately attract businesses, tourism, and investment, contributing to economic growth and development.
Our goal at Borg Architect Inc. is to inspire the preservation and celebration of local traditions, arts, and culture in the communities we design and build in.

What does sustainable architecture look like in the Arctic? The conventional thinking around building design in the Arctic is changing to reflect the region’s geographic and cultural diversity and give northerners more agency
We have been asked so many times, why did you spend ten years in the Arctic?

At Borg Architecture Inc., we're no strangers to pushing boundaries and innovating in the face of adversity. And when it comes to designing buildings in the Arctic, adversity is exactly what we face. From subzero temperatures to limited access and harsh weather conditions, building in the Arctic presents a unique set of challenges that require creative solutions and a deep understanding of the unique needs of each community we work in.
We believe that building in the Arctic requires a deep understanding of the region's unique needs and a commitment to innovation, sustainability and creating pride of place for each community.
Join us in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the Arctic as we begin working on our next project in the Hamlet of Pond Inlet.
