Today marks ONE YEAR (!!!!!) since I opened the doors for the first time and started welcoming you, my wonderful neighbours, into the new Ashton General Store 🥳🎉🍾 I still remember the feeling of both nervous energy and incredible excitement at the same time.
In the year since, whether you’ve been in once or every day, your support, encouragement, and friendships have meant the world to me! Ashton is a tiny village with the HUGEST heart 🩷

Restock alert!! The fridge has been filled yet again with delicious salads. This week we have pasta salad, Thai peanut noodle salad, edamame orange salad (my fave- have you tried the ginger sesame dressing yet??) AND vegan spaghetti bolognaise with homemade “parm” 😍🌱💪🏻Come get yours before they’re gone!

It is WAY too nice out there to stay inside! Who else is super happy to see the sun after all that rain??? Don’t stay in and prep your lunches, come pick up salads and go play outside instead! This week we have Thai, Big Mac, and Fiesta salads in the fridge (along with wild mushroom soup and smoothies!!!)

And we’re back!! The General Store has heat, internet, and most importantly HOT COFFEE 😍 I also have outlets for charging your devices, and a bit of freezer space if anyone is still without power. Thanks Hydro Ottawa for your hard work over the last couple days!

Have you tried one of our whoopie pies yet? Delicious frosting between two soft pillowy cake cookies. One of the official desserts of Maine, in case you were curious 👀 today I have two to choose from - peanut butter or strawberry cream cheese frosting. Come try one, or both!
