After getting my PR and living in Canada for 6 years, I now have a biased opinion on whether it is worth coming to Canada as an international student or an immigrant. But before I come up with my final decision, I have to dig deeper and ask myself a few questions:
What are the benefits of leaving Canada?
Why people are leaving Canada?
What will I do after leaving Canada?
Is Justin Trudeau the reason?
Is it because of the recession?
I'm sure that everyone is feeling now that "Canada is not a place for immigrants or international students anymore."
But after reading some articles and doing my own research, I observed why people leaving Canada.

Deloitte is now accepting applications for 2024 summer internships in the IT department. To help you navigate the application process, they have uploaded a webinar on there website where they've shared valuable insights on how to secure this coveted position.
We understand that networking plays a crucial role in any job hunt, which is why we encourage job seekers to not only have an ATS-Friendly resume but also to make meaningful connections.
Our suggestion is to use LinkedIn to connect with current employees. Reach out to them with the intention of learning more about the role you are applying for and to gain valuable insights from their experiences. Use MPM's template to add a note while making connections:
"Hello (Name),
I see that you are working as a “Job Title”, I aspire to be the same in the near future!
It will be great if we could connect so I can learn some skills before I go ahead and start applying."

Aiming for a government job in Canada without PR?
Your mentor is spilling the beans today!
Step 1: Make an account on Jobs.gc.ca
Step 2: Go to Filter and select: AS01/AS02 specification. AS means Administrative services
Step 3: Choose your language, learning basic French is strongly recommended!!
Step 4: Look for Competitions and not just for inventories.
Competition is an actual position whereas an inventory is just selecting people for a pool.
Step 5: Fix your resume, download my editable resume from the bio that got me many public sector interviews and eventually a full-time job.
Step 6: Most important, join Facebook informal public sector groups and network with people in them. Through that group, I was able to get a public sector job within a week.
