I user Molasses for this cake which has a distinctive, amazing flavor l and it’s perfect in this simple and easy holiday treat. The aroma while baking is nothing short of dreamy!

The spicy flavours in the sponge come from a combination of ground spices, as well as some finely chopped stem ginger as they have so much flavour.

Soft layers of spiced gingerbread cake are stacked and spread with whipped cream frosting for a snowy affect. Top with your favorite gingerbread decorations and enjoy!
