Give your child the opportunity to learn a new instrument or improve on one they already play this summer. We’re offering two weeks for sign-up: July 8-12 and July 15-19. Throughout the span of a week, they will receive personalized instruction tailored to their chosen instrument and delve into mastering a song of their preference. Our immersive program aims to nurture their musical talents while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for music.

Moreover, on the final day of the camp, students will have the exciting chance to showcase their newfound skills and musical accomplishments in our end-of-week concert. It’s not just about learning to play an instrument; it’s about building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music. Enroll your child today and let them embark on a transformative musical journey this summer!

Whether they’re beginners or seasoned musicians, Granata Music’s summer band camp offers a dynamic platform for children to flourish both musically and personally, fostering a lifelong passion for music and its myriad benefits.

Summer Band Camp
Join us for a week of musical exploration and fun at our Summer Band Camp! Drop-off and pickup times are at 10 AM and 3 PM, respectively. Students will have the exciting opportunity to choose between drums, piano, or guitar lessons, tailoring their experience!

Our story starts in 1984 when Nello Granata, a lifelong music enthusiast, opened our store in Ottawa. He brought his passion for music to life, starting with a modest inventory that mainly included books and guitar strings. The driving force behind the business was Nello's unwavering love for music.

In 2008, Nello made the decision to retire and pass the torch to his son, Gino Granata. With this transition, Granata Music underwent a transformation. Gino saw potential for growth and community building, and expanded our music lessons. He diversified the inventory, focusing on a wide range of instruments, from guitars to pianos. This shift was instrumental in creating what the store has become today!

One of our proudest achievements has been the creation of our vibrant community. To further foster this spirit, we began hosting coffee houses, providing a stage for our students and teachers to showcase their talents. We hope that events like these become a staple of Granata Music, bringing music lovers together and offering a platform for creative expression.

As we look to the future, we are committed to expanding our horizons. Our mission is to continue making music an integral part of our Ottawa community's life. We are actively exploring new ways to engage and inspire our customers, students, and fellow music enthusiasts.
