Today is World Autism Awareness Day.
April is Autism Awareness Month, we are donating $1 from each Steak Frites and our feature Blu-Tito cocktail to Ausome Ottawa. Our team is thrilled to be a part of this as it is near and dearar to our hearts!

Ausome Ottawa , a charity that provides specialized sports programs for children with autism.

Autism Quick Facts
● 1 in 50 children in Canada is diagnosed with autism.
● Children with autism experience higher levels of anxiety, depression, and obesity than their
neurotypical peers.
● Children with autism struggle to participate in community sports programs due to differences
in sensory needs, gross and fine motor skills, communication, and social interaction, and the
need for structure.

Ausome Quick Facts
Since 2016, Ausome has been providing safe, structured, and free sports programs for children with
autism. Since then we have:

● Provided 197 sports programs (that’s 3330 spots for athletes with autism!)
● trained 1785 community members in recognizing and supporting autism in sports
● hosted 1044 individual volunteers (logging 15, 114 volunteer hours!)
