After drinking with friends, he was spotted at Kingston Cemetery playing football and making ghostly noises, prompting complaints from witnesses. He pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive behavior likely to cause distress and was fined $42.

Spooky season is upon us here at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum!

Did you know many of the buildings at the museum are said to be haunted? There have been chilling tales from employees and volunteers with creepy unexplained sightings- like that of a stern woman inhabiting the Star Inn. We’ve even been lucky enough to have Bytown Paranormal come out and investigate these mysterious stories.

With Samhain approaching and the barriers between the spirit and physical world opening, be careful peering too closely at the darkened windows of the museum after nightfall! 🎃
