As the team continues to wrap up the post event details and prepare for our summer pause before Planning 2025, we reflect on everything that went well for 2024.

Inspiration

All it took was some momentum and this crew began inspiring thousands to join us each year to raise funds for CHEOBBQ

We have raised over $800K together, and we have gotten to work some of the best volunteers in the city. It’s been my pleasure to meet so many people, to have been a part of such a journey.

I am confident and excited looking forward to 2025, that the will continue to grow and evolve. But this is where you come in.

We NEED you! If you want to give back to community, to join a dynamic volunteer team that creates impact and to contribute to something bigger. Then please reach out.

We are looking to grow and expand the team. Here is example of what we are looking for:

Event Weekend is June14th 2025

(lots to choose from)
Operations Admin roles,
Logistics support (admin and muscle)
Volunteer leads
Partnership development - sponsors, partnerships and silent auction prizing
Social media and photo/video-ography
Family Zone lead
BBQ and Beer lead
Sports and Rec (V-ball and or 5K run)

We have people currently in these roles. But if the event needs to grow then so does the TEAM! This way no one is left with all the work and we can implement new ideas!

Many of our sponsors have been back year after year. They enjoy our family friendly, simple approach and flexibility towards the “HOW” to get involved.

Our goal is simple; Maximize our contributions to the hospital. We do this by hosting a fun community centric annual event that highlights families and activity.
