WE.ARE.DOING.IT! The doors to Trillium have been closed since August 1st but we can't keep you guys out on the most AWESOME day of the year! Is the shop fully ready in it's loveliness - no. Do I care - yes. But do I also realise that life is life and sometimes we have to show up imperfectly - yes! So although I can't do a full reveal of all I had hoped, I want to see your lovely faces and celebrate the best day of the year with you! And with that, of course we need some sales and a giveaway! For all you , how does 50% off sound? Pretty damn good I'd say! And for those who love dark and creepy florals, a giveaway! You must come into the store to enter, no purchase necessary. ....👀👀👀 So.....I'm not going to be back open tomorrow for in-store shopping. SOWY! I tried to hustle but tbh I was REALLY enjoying the process and still am! It's been great getting to be the decision maker with everything and accomplishing all those thoughts I've had over the years of "one day I'll get to X". This is one day!

So new plan for September! We are still doing deliveries of course and PRE-ORDERED pick ups. PRE-ORDERED! (

In the home stretch! I wish you guys could see the shop....actually I'm glad you can't. It's a hot mess!! And I'm covered in 20 years of dust but that was the goal! It's crazy how dirty a flower shop can get. 🙃

Just a heads up that we will be fully closed all of next week and into the following week, with our official re-opening date of Wednesday, September 4th 🥳. So if you have a special birthday or anniversary that falls between Aug. 26th to Sept. 3rd and you absolutely want to send flowers from us I suggest an early delivery of this Friday or Saturday! 📆

Just in! Some spectacular strawflower from Skarj Farm in Wi******er! If you've never seen (or heard!) strawflower before, you really must. They feel like tissue paper (...but sturdier?) and look a little alien like. They also dry wonderfully! Thanks Kelly for dropping them off to us 🧡.

How many of you have been here since the beginning? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Or even BEFORE that as either a customer of Trillium when my mom ran the business from her home from 1980(ish) to 1999, or as a customer of Tawny Rose Florist??

I can't believe I've been doing this job for that long too. Of course I wasn't managing the shop or doing fine detailed wedding work at 14 but I sure was still putting in the work and likely making prom corsages until 12am! The perks of being in a family business 😉. Not many people in their *cough cough* late 30s can say they've had the same job AND career for 24 years.

And we wouldn't be here for this long if it weren't for our wonderful, spectacular and dedicated customers. WE LOVE YOU IMMENSELY! I heard someone say the other day that supporting local is a commitment and I loved that outlook. You guys have made the commitment time and time again to support us and let us be a part of your celebrations and we are truly thankful. Hearing your stories and getting to know your anniversaries, wives' birthdays, retirements...we are so lucky to be a part of all of those milestones in your lives.

Our doors are still open and we're still providing the same quality flowers that you've gotten to know and love despite some business changes over those many years. I am personally so thankful that you have stuck with me through my journey as an entrepreneur for the last 3.5 years and been my cheerleaders through some of the updates and adjustments I have made. Running a business in 2020+ is WAY different than 2000 I can tell ya that!

Attn last minute West Carleton students who haven't pre-ordered their prom flowers! I stayed late at the shop and made up this artificial/dried wrist corsage. It is available on either a silver, gold or rose gold metal cuff. We can also whip up a matching boutonniere. If you would like to nab it please give us a call first thing at 10am!

For those who know me and my taste you know my LEAST favourite flower is.......BABIES BREATH! 😆 "But Mandy, it's SO trendy and looks like a big, fluffy cloud when you use it on it's own". Nope. It's ugly, it's very fragile, it's smelly, it's overused, it's NOT cheap (contrary to what Pinterest tells you 😉)....I could go on.

Enter this beautiful, locally grown beauty! Yep, locally grown babies breath from . I was fortunate to be able to use it in our wedding last weekend and loved how it danced amongst the flowers (unfortunately I forgot to snap a pic 😩). But here's a close up! Hopefully its growing season lasts a while so we can continue to bring it into the shop and share it with you lovely folk!

ATTN West Carleton grads – we only have room for 2 more prom orders so if you haven't ordered yet we encourage you to do so ASAP. We also have been made aware that the 3 high schools in our vicinity all have their graduation ceremonies on the same day along with another high school's prom so we anticipate next Thursday will be absolutely insane. We may not be able to accommodate same-day requests but we will do our best! All that said please please please pre-order! That is the best way to ensure you will get what you are looking for. We thank you in advance for your orders and patience during this busy time!

We've had a bit of a change to the Trillium family this week. Sadly our dedicated and reliable drivers have decided to retire! They have been our drivers for 10+ years and in our 24 years of business, they have outshone any other drivers we've had! They've delivered in any type of weather (including to some rural addresses in snow storms!), still managed to complete deliveries on a day the breaks on their van went (kudos to good connections with a mechanic 😉) and have never turned down any time sensitive requests. We've received countless calls from customers saying how pleasant and kind our drivers are. They certainly will be missed! 😢
