This dates back to 2018 when I started to play with paints! A sight we saw in PEI as we were vacationing there... now we get to see it as residents. Still in love with the feel of this and the sea!

I need to redo this one as we now have 4 grandkids...

Move is going well and everyone is physically on the Island now so it will be time to take it easy and help our little ASD boys adapt to this life changing move. Boxes and the studio can wait... time for beach visits and getting familiar with new restaurants, ice cream shops and nature trails!!

I am very happy to say that “Haven” has been adopted! (Sold)

She was supposed to stay with me in PEI but she went before the move! I have wild live foxes now practically in my yard so there will be plenty more inspiration!

Either way you see her.... she is yawning which is what Jim and I are doing a lot of lately... or she is growling which is how I feel about having to unpack the full loads that were delivered this week. Getting our new furniture today, which includes a mattress, so we should be happier tomorrow as we won't have to sleep on an air mattress anymore! Lol!

And it is done! No more studio and the entire house is on its way to PEI! Bittersweet. I will miss my family and my friends but looking forward to this new chapter!

My sole representation in this region this year is through Studio 87 so don’t hesitate to contact them if you are interested in my work!

"Play with Me" 24x24" oil is now well packed and padded and will be on her way to PEI next week! Moving paintings and paint supply is nerve wracking. Hoping all of them make it there intact!

What a nice surprise! "Snow Song" is in Tokyo, Japan! I am so honored! We do not always get to know where our paintings go when they are sold in galleries. Not only was I lucky enough to have her featured in the Federation of Canadian Artists member magazine but I also found out where she now lives!

This is such a wonderful surprise!

Test Print is done! This was totally fun to do but definitely needs a redo once the studio is back up! I am debating between 2 titles. 1) Guardiani or 2) Nevermore What do you think? Which title is your favourite?

Throwback Thursday! "Haven" 16x20 - oil painting

Moving to a province where these little guys are like ALL over the place!! Can't wait to see if anyone has adopted our fields!

A creative has to create! You get to see the good, the bad and the ugly! Lol! This is a wee pastel painting I played with this morning. Covehead Lighthouse in PEI, a place we will get to visit as often as we want in a few weeks from now!

A bit of a primitive feel to it... pastels are not a medium I paint with often, they are fun though!
