Wow! Fall is flying by. We were so excited to be a part of “Partage-a dinner at Beechwood” this past August. We thought our natural hourglass chairs were a perfect addition to the amazing tables and decor provided by our friends at LouLou Lounge Furniture Rental. This event raised money for the Partage Vanier food bank, who help feed over 800 people a month!

We want to send a big thank you out to our loyal customers. Covid was particularly hard on the events rental business, and we are still striving to reach pre covid staffing levels. Thank you for sticking with us!!

Just a reminder that we are literally working day and night, and we need to prioritise current events. Email is the best way to reach us as we are either preparing, delivering or removing event orders every day, in the shop and on the road.

However, we have some great changes coming! Our new website should be up within a few weeks, and will have a tone of new decor items available for rental.

Groovy is hiring! We are looking for a delivery/warehouse driver, for day to day runs while also able to set

Basic requirements

•Punctual & responsible
•Able to work as a team
•Able to work alone with minimum guidance
•Shifts are mainly day time but do have set up and tear downs of events on weekends and nights in peak seasons
•Be able to interact with customers in a professional manner
•Able to driver large cargo vans, cubes and on occasion 5 ton trucks

We were fortunate enough to be asked to work with Ottawa’s very own Jasmyn Gulyas for her debut single, 23. We used a variety of rentals such as LED up lights, spotlights, smoke machines, pipe and draping.

Groovy does more than just weddings and galas. We’ve been known for handling grand openings, bar and bat mitzvahs, Xmas parties, festivals, birthdays, anniversaries and music videos 🎵
