These stubborn tiny white bumps are technically called milia, that form under a thin layer of skin and not in a pore like acne.

You can typically find them on cheeks, around the eyes, eyelid’s, nose and chest and can appear at any age.

❌Don’t try to pop a Milium(singular to milia), it won’t work and may cause scarring.

A common method that we use at Privé Spa to remove a milium is to use a lancet(small sterile needle)to prick the skin and then use a comedone extractor.

Some Milia might disappear on their own while others may need to be removed. These bumps are considered normal but for some of us we want them gone. May need more than one visit.
