We had an amazing time hosting the 3rd annual Grey Bruce Entrepreneur Ecosystem Small Business Celebration! Small businesses from across the region joined local service providers for an evening of live music, great food, drinks, games, networking, prizes and more! was a perfect location for this event. We are excited to announce the launch of our Intellectual Property Micro-Grant Program, designed to assist entrepreneurs in developing, protecting, and commercializing their intellectual property.

Selected applicants will receive up to CA$5,000 to cover essential intellectual property-related costs as the first step to protect their brands and innovations and to capitalize on their potential.

The Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism is pleased to announce that the RAISE grant program (2024-25) is now open for applications. Applications for the program must be submitted on or before October 30, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
This program will provide access to business development training, culturally responsive and tailored business coaching, networking opportunities, and a one-time grant of $10,000 to support Indigenous, Black and other racialized entrepreneurs.
If you are an Indigenous, Black or other racialized entrepreneur and own a small business in Ontario that is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, then you may be eligible. Entrepreneurs who have not previously participated in the RAISE grant program are encouraged to apply to access the program offerings.
Applications are processed in the order they are received. Eligible applicants will be accepted into the program until the program budget is reached.
